Stevie is that rare artist that everyone loves and respects. No matter what genre you are from. Rock, soul, R&B, jazz, classical, pop.....they all love Stevie.

Englishman here - i love our music, from the Beatles, Stones, Queen, Floyd, Elton, Sting, Bowie, Sabbath, Motorhead, George Michael, Sheeran, Adele........the list goes on - BUT......................despite all that class and success, we can never claim to have one as talented and amazing as the USA - because you have Stevie Wonder. He's the greatest there has ever been and ever will be. God bless him.

You should hear Donny's version of Andy Williams's "Moon River." He used to perform it live in his Vegas show. I actually prefer his version to the original by Andy Williams.

This was incredible. It took my breathe away to watch Donny's face as Stevie was singing. They are both great artists. One recognized more than the other.

I don’t think she meant that at all. I believe what she is saying is that Stevie Wonder is recognized as a legend, whereas, the mountain of music, television and entertaining that Donny Osmond has accomplished within HIS sphere of the music industry was very often downplayed. Donny always had a great voice and personality. He WAS recognized to a great degree but obviously not as much as Stevie. It wasn’t a comparison about talent, just on the RECOGNITION of those talents.

When a song can bring a tear to a grown mans eye.....Kudos to Donny also. Nicely done!

Some years ago, I had the good fortune to meet Donnie Osmond backstage. I had brought my mom and he treated her as if there was no one else in the room. Donnie, thank-you. I will forever remember you as the loveliest of souls.

Stevie Winder is Timeless I loved his music and smile back when I was three and now I’m 41 can’t get enough! League of his own❤ When an artist smiles while singing omg it sends me to outer space!

This is where I envy celebrities because they get to meet their idols. This was magical, would love to have been sitting in that chair opposite Stevie having this experience. 💜

Donny and Marie Osmond are also musical geniuses their talent, singing voice, personality are simply and extremely amazing!❤️❤️❤️

What got me was how Donny reacted at the start to the fact that Stevie Wonder was accompanying him - priceless.

It goes without saying that Stevie sounded incredible. It should also be noted that Donny stepped up and did a beautiful job himself. Holding your own on a Stevie Wonder song while Steve freakin' Wonder is playing it on the piano is no mean feat. Stevie was incredibly gracious to give Donny a moment to shine before nailing it himself.

I may be wrong, but I really think that Donnie didn’t expect to sing. Sure he had the microphone at all but that was mostly because he was doing the interviewing. When Steve asked him to sing and it started off for a moment he was shocked and skipped a beat but like the true musical performer that Donnie is he recovered brilliantly and even when he forgot the wordsTemporarily, he’s still recovering quickly to finish his part of the song. He handled that with such poise that only professional could do without getting flustered

That really is gracious of Stephen to do that and to have Donnie start off first. Donnie almost had a major“ fanboy moment“ when he realized his icon this musical genius with actually playing his favorite song for him to sing in front of him. The moment is almost too much but he recovered so well

I had the pleasure of playing piano for Donny backstage as we sang Stevie Wonder songs. Just the two of us. His face lit up singing Stevie. I believe we did "Love's In Need of Love Today" and "I wish". Donny said that it was his desire to have sung Stevie songs on the Donny & Marie show back in the 70's but it wasn't allowed to happen. To one person's comment, yes, Donny was born to sing Stevie songs!

I seen a show where The Osmonds along with Cher did his songs on her show I think In 1975

Stevie Wonder and excellent musician and Overjoyed one of this master piece. I can,t help but cry. Congratulations from Peru.

Stevie Wonder. My birth twin - same day same year and..... I became a musician, singer and songwriter. Stevie has always been the greatest influence on my career that culminated in the great privilege of working with Syreeta here in the UK when she came over as part of a retrospective Motown tour many years ago. This song in particular is very close to my heart. To have had Stevie as the heartbeat of my youth and my latter years has only ever made me, 'Overjoyed'. I always raise a glass to him every May 13th. Happy 73rd next month.

I've seen and heard this video over and over again, every time i'm touched to my bones, every time i cry! That's what this Wonderfull men does to me with his creations! I heard his music the first time, when i was 9 years old, now i'm....almost 67: there was never a dull Stevie-moment in this entire period❤❤❤❤❤ Thank you so very mutch from the Netherlands, Stevie.

Stevie wonder is a genius. I listen to it since I was little, because it was heard between songs compiled from cassette, "part time of lovers", And there I saw him in a video with the song "i just call...", and there I tried to sing the song that I mention first. I like how he sings. I admire him as a singer and a person beyond his talent.

I was doing just fine, now I'm crying at the grocery store. Although you uploaded this entire episode, I'm glad to revisit this duet between Donny and Stevie. Thank you so much for posting this Dave. My father introduced me to Stevie Wonder back in the 70's. I remember him playing the records on his HI-Fi system, from the period that's considered Stevie's perfect run. I was only around seven, and would get butterflies and chills from the seemingly magical sonic landscapes that I was taking in. I still revisit those same songs when I need a reminder. I believe he speaks the language of the universe. I'm grateful that we were given an artist that's such a true voice of love. Thank you! 🧡
