Stevie reminds me of that one kid from middle school that nobody would talk to, or hang out with, and maybe you feel a little bad for him so one day you sit by him at lunch but it only takes 5 minutes to understand why everybody avoids them.

She’s absolutely right the fact Steve got hella offended over her opinion of sweep picking and called him out on it HERSELF shows how much more integrity & maturity she has over Stevie T 😭 Being a grown ass adult and publicly shaming & bullying a minor is really sad and pathetic.

I hope he realized it was immature, and doesn't do it again, because I have been a Stevie T fan for a long time and I wouldn't watch him if he still does these kinds of things. However, his channel isn't targeted towards children, and youtube is 13+, so children aren't meant to be on itm

As someone who had been bullied for most of my early years, Stevie's behavior makes me so absurdly pissed off. Being on the receiveing end of this type of behavior was borderline traumatic for me, and i don't want to imagine what it would be like for someone like Richard Benson. It's absolutely deplorable

It’s quite clear that Steve was bullied growing up. He thinks it’s due to his appearance most likely, not taking into account his horrible and tasteless personality. Now trying to overcompensate for all of that by not only being a fantastic guitar player (which he is, undoubtedly.) but also an over the top, loud, obnoxious bully. Usually, people who are the most insecure are also more likely to gravitate towards bullying. What makes it the worst is how he tries to mask his bullying as “parody” and makes sure to put a 12 second disclaimer at the end of his videos that “it’s all in good fun and I actually like the person I just roasted to oblivion about their art”. Long story short, Stevie is just an internally sad dude who uses his “humor” to cope.

I was suspended from high school in 1980 in my freshman year for literally knocking out a huge 6`6 12th grade bully. He was the son of the former principal. I fractured his nose and blacked both his eyes with one punch. I lost my temper but nearly everyone on campus saw it at first recess. My dad gave me 20 bucks and took me to our fishing camp on a nearby lake and dropped me off while I was out of school for three days. I grew up doing chores on a 5 acre farm. I loaded, unloaded, chopped, stacked, and carried inside all our firewood each year and weeded three acres of crops and mowed the rest with a push mower, hauled hay, ran 175 fur traps, walked miles hunting, lifted heavy bags of fertilizer, harvested crops, fed and watered a lot of animals, and I wasn`t the right guy to be bullying. I was vindictive too and dangerous. I had an encounter with this same bully years before the only time I went to the town pool. I had never seen the guy before but he reported me to the lifeguard for stealing his diving mask...MY mask, and they took it from me!

His manager is full of shit - while it's true that kids don't PERSONALLY have money, it still absolutely benefits you to appeal to them... guess what... RAID shadow legends don't care who your audience is, if you're getting clicks, they're paying anywhere from $2000 - $10000 for an ad (speaking from experience, a friend of mine makes $4k for every raid ad). It's the same with any brand deal he takes on. Stevie sells product, sure. But his shirts and patreon and shit aren't where the money is for him (hell MY Patreon makes more than his!!!), he's making his money on youtube ads, and 3rd party ads - and when it comes to ads... it doesn't matter who they're served to. You just want the numbers... and kids make those numbers!

If he really wants to put his money where his mouth is he would turn off ads on these types of videos instead of capitalizing on drama. Videos with parodies of intellectual property characters from cartoons don’t necessarily mean those videos are made for or targeted at children. Most people should be smart enough to know that on their own but KDH thinks we’re stupid and need to be told how to think since we can’t have informed opinions of our own.

Wow, you make really valid points here. Great work. This is a suggestion, but I think Stevie should try and construct a mindset where he can keep doing these types of videos, being the child friendly and mature audience oriented content (minus the "ripping on haters" videos, as they're just uncalled for), and not having to compromise between each target audience - if that makes sense. In short, as an example, he can possibly try and divide his audience between a separate channel and his current main one, meaning that he can make videos suitable for kids within the suitable KZread kids age range on a child friendly channel, and the usual content on his main, thus possibly making things a little easier and better for himself as well as everyone else. Sorry if that was a bit of a length-y, ranting paragraph, but it just looks better in typed words than me trying to physically speak my opinion. Lol. Again, great work, dude.

I'm a subscriber of Stevie. Honestly watching your videos has opened my eyes. I would much rather subscribe and support someone who actually cares more about the viewer. You know the person that got them where they are?

Depends on what you're looking for. If it's guitar stuff, a good place to start would be Ola Englund, Bernth and Rhett Shull.

I'm sorry for sticking up for Stevie. I thought he was a nice guy, but this video explains perfectly that he's not. It is just wrong and makes me sick that a human being would treat anybody like that.

@@Cycopace I completely understand that, everybody has a story. Stevie T probably did get bullied, and we should understand that. But look at it this way, if he got bullied, did he like it? If not, why do the same. You need to change your story and be a better person. I would 100% stick up for Stevie if he was being bullied, and I do in the comment section. But if he's hurting other people's feelings or advertising adult toys in front of a younger audience, I think I should stay away from his channel for a while.

@@Douglas_I Are you serious? He didn't even say sorry once or show any sort of remorse for that matter. It's also worth mentioning he said 'Haha' three times. If he was sorry he would have said it at least once in between all of the laughing.

I do agree with your last sentences. “Pick either family friendly or not”. As long as he does this he can solve a ton of issues. I don’t know why he doesn’t.

@Бразилец I think it’s just that some parents who aren’t as present in their kid’s life may not know that Stevie T’s content isn’t kid friendly. By a glance it certainly seems that way and might give the wrong impression to parents.

@Бразилец you don’t need to be so defensive. It’s a perfectly rational criticism that a 34 year old successful man should be able to handle himself. Sure, some 8 year olds watch PG-13 movies. It’s not “kid friendly”, but many are able to handle it. What Stevie did however, is the equivalent to Nickelodeon airing Adam and Eve advertising during commercial breaks. It makes it look like he cares more about easy money than he does being a decent role model to an obviously younger audience. While I personally can’t stand him, other people who are sharing reasonable criticism are not “haters” or “Karens” just because they said something that isn’t positive.
