Now you’re talking! Dirty Pool from his Live at Carnegie Hall is magical ✨
YES, Stevie the great. RIP💔
This man was brilliant!
Never stop SRV...Hit Couldn't Stand The Weather 😎😎
I saw Stevie Ray with special guest Jeff Beck up in Worcester at the Centrum about 9 months before Stevie passed. So good!

yes i remember seeing you there you were in tears they were rolling down the street.
Stevie was 1 of a kind!!
Stevie's voice is so passionate and sensual, he's feeling every verse. It goes perfect with his playing...
The part that blows my mind it's a three piece band. Stevie is actually playing rhythm and lead at the same time.
You Jamming on SRV hes from my hood Oakcliff DFW Icon / Legend and to me the GOAT! Just an amazing person as well ..RIP Stevie we miss you everyday
Best Blues Guitar EVER.!!!

FACTS
I got to see Stevie play many times, and he played this song the first time I saw him, but I haven’t heard this version. This is a wonderful track, even though or maybe because it’s a little rough (you can hear that the solo is overdubbed, for instance), but the passion and performance is all there. What a guitar player! There is no barrier between what he hears in his head and what comes through the guitar. It’s perfectly translated. I swear, watching him play gave you hope for mankind, faith that there really is a benevolent God watching out for us, and He sent that message through Stevie, because no mere human can play like that.
"Champagne & Reefer" live @ Buddy Guy's club...with Buddy.

Chicago boy here….went to that club more times than I could count….the talent that moved through that club was amazing.. A great joint!
Vicious guitarist, rip Stevie
Everything you react to should be live whenever possible……
Perfection as always love it! Thank you Biz
SRV earned you a subscription.
Brilliant!
The absolute GOAT.
Recommendation... SRV did a TV show with Albert King, a blues legend and hero for Stevie. These songs are on YT, and you cant pick a bad one. Try "Blues At Sunrise"
Hey you need check out the live version with Albert Collins BB King and Paul Butterfield and Albert Kong I think you will enjoy it
Great video!! Some of that live stuff is not to be missed. Luv ya, Biz!
I think SRV is best watched instead of the studio. Weird but true he's such a Grest watch.

Right. To record their first album ‘Texas Flood’, SRV & Double Trouble just played through their standard set twice, very few if any overdubs, and didn’t do a lot different on their second, so it might as well be live.
What's next is anything and everything
Love Struck Baby/Pride and Joy/Testify - Live 9/21/1985 at the Capitol Theatre. Great trilogy from that concert. Actually that whole concert is amazing!
The GOAT!!!!!!
Scratch and Sniff, Travis Walk, Change It, Look At Little Sister, Things That I Used To Do

Great reaction...love this song...Stevie had a fantastic voice ❤❤ Live is always best tho 🙏🥳
You have to check Albert King and Stevie perform this song together. It's on a concert called B.B. King and friends. B.B. Albert, Eric Clapton, Stevie, Dr. John, Billy Ocean, Phil Collins, Gladys Knight, Etta James and Chaka Khan. The whole show is incredible.🎶🎸🎼🎵
Do In Step from start to finish
He was hittin em pretty good on this recording. Some other ones are smoother but, seem less aggressive than this one.
Did you know that on Stevie's album The Sky Is Cryin Stevie played all the instruments on this song, he was a jack of all trades when it came to music. Stevie was a singer, song writer, producer, he played piano, drums, Saxophone and I almost forgot guitar 😅😅😅 he was also in a few movies.

No he didn't, that's ridiculous
Written by Elmore James, this song wasn't released by SRV until after his dearh.
More guitar-driven blues, Chicago-style this time? Try Son Seals "The Woman I Love" : kzread.info/dash/bejne/o4Cn0Zdre9SZfMo.html.
This is an alternate version not the album one. Still badass nonetheless.
The Sky is Crying is a really good variety sampler of SRV….for example Little Wing ((Jimi Hendrix cover), Close to You (melodic vocal over catchy swing rhythm ), Life by the Drop (stripped down, just vocals and 12 string acoustic). I rather prefer the mix rather than a pure diet of epic shredding.
Hey Biz... do SRV "Life by the Drop"... it's freaking amazing.
Biz Have u done " Life by the drop " ?
