Stevie Ray Vaughan's Tin Pan Alley -Bluesy tones with the salvaged Jerusalem pine Underdog guitar

Музыка

A clean demo of the Jerusalem Pine Underdog guitar. The Underdog model is a semi-hollow guitar inspired by some of my personal favorite catalog guitars of the '50s. This term refers to a line of acoustic and electric guitars that were sold through the Sears, Roebuck, and Co. catalog from the late 19th century until the mid-1970s. These guitars were manufactured by various companies, including Harmony, Kay, and Danelectro, and were sold under different brand names, such as Silvertone and Airline.
I'm using Mediterranean Cypress or Salvaged Jerusalem Pine for the Underdog body.
These are ancient salvaged pieces of lumber from my collection.
This lumber doesn't "block" the mid-bottom range frequencies like certain types of dense woods, and the result of the semi-hollow construction and the lipstick humbuckers is a warm and very open tone that's definitely bigger than the sum of its parts.
For the book-matched tops, I offer various options for rare lumber
such as Judean Desert Acacia, Wild Rosewood, Jerusalem Pine, and ancient olive.
The hardware is also handmade from bell-brass, and the pickups are my special lipstick pickups handmade and hand-wound using original Alnico six agents with AWG 42 enamel plated wire.
The guitar is available in four or six positions with various humbucker and single coil tones.

Beautiful guitar. Is that Rudy T 'Mountaintop' you're playing?

Thanks, I'd never heard that track before. Great! Really beautiful guitar, nice metalwork too . . . sounds as good as it looks.
