Texas Blues is what it called. Stevie was and is my brother. This is his song he wrote. ❤❤
Love SRV!!!!
I totally understand what you’re saying. He’s my fave
Texas Blues!!
Stevie said once that he was a black man trapped in a white man's body. Albert King introduced him as his son. LOL. He was Stevie's musical Godfather and mentor. He always would tell Stevie you could do better and play better. Challenging him. It was tough love
This is considered Texas Blues. RIP Stevie
All love
Gospel can be credited to many artists over the years.
Def cross between blues & gospel
Check out Stevie Ray Vaughan live at El Mocombo Texas Flood.
He was Etta James favorite. In her biography, she called him, "The baddest of all the white boys." Albert King once said of Vaughan, "Ain't but one white boy with a black daddy, and I'm him." And Albert King pretty much hated everyone. lol
Remember when he died my mama balled her eyes out. We saw him 2 times in concert. BB King LOVED SRV and Stevie worshipped BB but BB worshiped him back. RIP BOTH THE GOATS OF BLUES. NOT EVEN MR HENDRICKS CAME CLOSE. MY OPINION. Watch him play behind his back sista. Lolol we were going crazy. I was like 18 and never felt like I wanted to be groupie till I saw him live lololol. Forgive me Jesus. Just take care of Stevie up there.
your exactly right.......jc
Gospel begot the blues, the blues begot, rock&roll! 😎👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
He was born with soul I grew up on Motown and you should check out life without you please
Check out “Tin Pan Alley” with SRV and Johnny Copeland
That intro gets me weak every time.
Beutefull video 🙏 🙏🙏 🙏🙏 🙏
Stevie Ray is very soulful...lol..yess! ..this some good music right here..lol..love your reactions! 💯
One of the ALL TIME GREATS !!!! Saw him in concert in about 1980 here in Miami.....love his bluesy country !!!
They are different fingers on the same hand.
Great music 💕💕 amazin video
This was from his first Montreux concert. They were booed by a lot of the audience.
Loved it!!
Nice music friend
Stevie wrote this song. There are those who said he wrote it about an ex-girlfriend who he was with for several years and others who say he actually wrote it about his favorite guitar, who he called #1. Either way, it's great! I'm a bit biased, but I love everything Stevie did. :)
❤️❤️Wow gud upload 🔥tq for sharing
Wow this was a classic love to see people jamming out cool reaction video 💯❤️
I freckin love the blues! My grandmother was from Southern TN. She had all his stuff on vinyl. She used to drink her 'porch swang dranks' and listen to SRV.
Hi, we love your videos, like #30
I believe he was singing about his guitar on this one
It's nice to see you evolve. I remember when you just started and was building up your community your Channel was doing challenges. I love to come back and see how you found your niche. You go girl. Keep growing✌
He was raised-up around legends. Blues Legends. Johnny Copeland, BB King, Albert King and several others.
😂😂🤣🤣
Hi new friend here sending my full support stay connected
If you love this then you must try Aint Gon Give Up On Love and Change It both live at The Capitol Theatre!! Good vocals too!💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞
"lenny" you catch this one yet?
Love your videos. Your intro makes me smile every time! If you get a chance, react to Redbone "Come And Get Your Love" 1974 Midnight Special. Love that one.
BB King and Albert Ling has said that Stevie was a black man trapped in a white mans body she he had so much soul that any of the blues singers that come before him loved and respected him and he did them also. If you really want one where his voice is soulful check out Tin Pan Alley with Johnny Copeland .
I THINK IT ALL IS GOD SENT STAY SAFE AND SORRY THE LONG COMMEMT ABOUT ME AND SRV
Would you mind reacting to SRV's Love struck baby/rude mood? It's live and pure lightning. Stevie plays behind his head and dances at the same time.

You think this is soulful, check out his “Tin Pan Alley” with Johnny Copeland!
Amazing that he did this on 7 grams of cocaine and a qt. Of whiskey a day for yrs. Got sober in 88 but damn that helicopter crash in 90 took away this genius. RIP Stevie ❤
If you like this kind of soulful, powerful singing, your would like LOU ANN BARTON. She used to be in a band with him back in the day in Texas. I believe she did all the singing. This was before he became the SRV that we all now know. She released an album READ MY LIPS (1989). The songs on this you would like include: SUGAR COATED LOVE, SHAKE YOUR HIPS and I think you would really like YOU CAN HAVE MY HUSBAND. You describe the singing as soulful. I describe it as "they sing like they mean it." They are just not kidding around here. I think the band she was in with him was called TRIPLE THREAT. Seriously, judging from your reaction to this you should definitely check out LOU ANN BARTON. Video of her on KZread is of poor quality. I would just stick with the audio files that are on KZread of the release READ MY LIPS. Its a THANG. LOL.

@@nmgal8543 I never saw her, but after hearing the READ MY LIPS CD I became an instant fan. She was never really popular back in 1989 or so and I would not expect many people to know her outside of the Austin area as well. But as YOU know, she is an enormous, underrated talent.

@@notedrockhistorian4382 I hung out at Antone's pretty intensively from '87 to '90 so saw her there regularly, along with the fellow blueswomen Angela Strehli and Toni Price. Oh, the band you're thinking of with LouAnn and Stevie was Triple Threat, the third threat being W.C. Clark.
Cool reaction. If you'd like to hear more if his voice, and his soul, check out Life Without You. It's primo.
