ABOUT STEVENAGE FOOTBALL CLUB
Founded in 1976 as Stevenage Borough Football Club, we dropped the 'Borough' from our name in 2010 when we won promotion to the English Football League for the first time in our history, although it's stuck as our nickname!
We currently play in Sky Bet League One, the third tier of English football. Our home games are played at The Lamex Stadium, which has a capacity of 7,800 supporters. Over the years, we have achieved a huge amount in our relatively short history: including 2 FA Trophies, 2 Conference National titles, a League Two Play-Off Trophy & automatic promotion to League One in 2023.
We're also famous for giant-killing Premier League teams in the FA Cup, knocking out Newcastle United in 2011 & Aston Villa in 2023!

That lino needs sacking ! Was clearly offside . Second half the ref gave up on looking for lino and made decisions him self cos he knew he was a mug

Please remember that offside is judged when the ball is played by a member of your side, not when you receive the ball. With the view given on the video it would be extremely difficult, if not impossible, to adjudge if the Barnsley player was offside. But on the plus side 3 points are three points!!

@@garyhollingsworth5443I agree with the guy commenting before me, I was perfectly in line with Pidge and the guy was a solid 5yds off. Our crowd were silent for a few seconds before kicking off at the lino because we were just in disbelief that it wasn't given

Barnsley goal was laughable, their striker was miles off side. That ‘linesman’ should be sacked. Thankfully, we turned it around, but there’s no excuse for that, worse than useless..

It really doesn’t matter what the linesman was doing because “You cannot be offside if you directly receive the ball from a goal kick (without any headers or such) Law 16 of the game. I am a Boro supporter so let’s not take me to the cleaners
