The moment I saw the thumbnail for Everything's Fine last night, I almost screamed, "I KNEW IT!" out loud.

Yeah the only inaccurate thing here is that Steven was fully clothed when he changed back, whereas in the actual episode he wasn’t wearing any clothes when he changed back.

I liked the way monster Steven was drawn, to me he looked more terrified or in pain than angry

If I where to do my own take, Steven should of mutated slowly over the episode, he should of hid his new features in clever ways. every pink outburst cause's futher mutation. Possibly it could be painful like in Akria. Eventually in the middle of the town maybe steven finally freaked and snaps, before he fully mutates in pain.

I don't think this was random, it has been leading up to for a while now. I personally like to think that Garnet sees it coming and sees that she can't do anything about it. That Steven's going to have to figure all this out for himself and that she can only talk to him. Imao.

*_SPOILER WARNING FOR THE FINALE!_* Honestly, I would have preferred this ending over the actual ending. I love both endings, but this ending would’ve made me cry. (Edit: I was very close to crying in the actual ending, but if the ending were like this fan animatic then I probably would have cried) I think Steven Universe ended beautiful however, with everyone hugging and supporting him, and him moving out. But the ‘fight’ would have been more exciting if it were like this + the Diamonds and Spinel.

I love how this is mostly spot on in the finale.

Wow. This is incredibly accurate! The biggest differences are that the Diamonds, Spinel, Bismuth, Lapis, and Peridot aren't there, not everyone is hugging Steven, and Kaiju Steven is smaller than his real Kaiju size in the show (he was big enough that Connie could walk a few steps on his nose to kiss his face). But you totally called it! I was rooting for this to happen in the show ever since I saw this animatic. Now, Connies' and Steven's arcs have come full-circle: he healed her with a (indirect) kiss, and gave her confidence, now she healed him with a kiss and stabilized him emotionally. My fave couple! ❤

Greg’s face is done so well, his one true love, the person who taught him to be who he is today, the person who inspired him died. This left him to take care of his son he knows nothing about who may have still been his dead mom. And you showed his emotions of the only family he has ever known being crushed. ( or crushing others ) you can see the guilt he feels of not finding out something was up sooner. The sadness he feels that his son felt that way. And the pain he feels that his wife and son are gone. And the relief he feels when Steven comes back is perfect. I see all of the backstory and emotions through your Greg drawings. I paused there and started crying. Keep it up! ( but be careful, you’ll make my eyes sweat again ). Edit: didn’t expect 100 likes! Thanks guys! Edit: 360 likes! Never expected this!! Edit: 700 likes! I like that in this there's still a color distortion in his face. It shows that the mental effects have not gone away and that he needs more help. I love it.
