With all these talented guitar players on state dont forget how the drummer sets a very solid foundation for all of them. This was fantastic.

I don't know who he is but one thing is certain. He has to be one of the quickest and cleanest drummers of the modern era. I've been playing drums for years and I can't even get close to his level much less be able to play an entire concert after that. Definitely top flight!

One of the most "hype vibe" Music performances ever. They were full throttle through every single second of the performance

When he starts and most of the crowd is just staring while the one Chick is GETTING IT gets me everytime.

I love his music. I still listen to The Edge of Insanity and Maximum Security. He's a bad ass. I think he came up through Mike Varney/Shrapnel Records

i love seeing Billy Sheehan play with Steve. his over-the-top energy suits so well.

No joke. Him and Vai opening their set w/ SHY BOY for the 2001 G3 tour was massively amazing!

What makes Steve Vai amazing is not only his music but his stage performance and body language, this guy just fucking loves putting on shows and playing amazing music.

0:13 drummer is just right in the pocket, powerful, precise, accurate without overdoing it.

It's like Steve and Billy were born to play together. The greatest on the Bass and the greatest on the guitar. WOW !!!!! Steve Vai has a new solo album coming out this month if I'm not mistaken.

I have this DVD. Years ago I played this clip for some non-guitar friends. They flipped at the scene where they cross play each others axes. Plus, the mix is great on a big stereo.

I can't help but to smile *each and every time* I watch this. Unbelievably cool!!!!!!

Yeah he is multi-talented, legato one arm on fretboard then transitions and plays the whole tapping part on the keyboard. Insane talent.

Not only is the guitar playing incredible but that drumming is really punchy & tight!

He's not only a excelent guitar player and composer. He's a fucking showman

What we see Steve Vai doing is the result of tens of thousands of hours of focused and deliberate practice and training. To say he was born with the ability to play guitar is not only ridiculous but an insult to him. He earned his skills, he wasn't just lucky and born this way...

This took my breath away, and I can't recall the last time a piece of guitar heavy music did that. They were on another level. I'm going to return to this performance a lot.

This is the type of musical upload that you'll look up & say to your kids come & watch this: " As This Is Real Talent " But alas not many of the youth I know either play an instrument or listen to music like i/we did... As long as us old timers keep playing music so it , at least gets , past on to the next generation then , I think , that all I can ask & I'll be happy to seeing music in all the various genres being played to fresh young ears as we can't let music to whither away a slow death... Yet another amazing show of musicianship/respect/knowledge of their craft & just loving what they are doing & we need more of this in such trying difficult times... In light of this still ongoing coronavirus stay safe and healthy wherever you are in this world... Respect & Love Slainte .....
