chance of getting decomp in 20m depth and below is ALMOST zero...and they dive at 3-4m where you can't get it even if you tried!

​​​​@@crixusinhowolf4467 Kind of correct, we usually dive less than 33'fsw or under 1ATM so we roughly have a few minutes shy of 6 hours until a 5 minute decompression is needed halfway up. At that point a gorilla would be tired from the calisthenics, and rarely does anyone push that... but we (Daryl Galepegeau & I) did everyday as a standard (weather permitting) on Emily's dredge the Eroica, never longer. We have a had a few people here in Nomes history get the Benz but it was from a lack of education and I can't imagine they flew to Anchorage for hyperbaric treatment, but I don't know the story. As for this episode, take it with a grain of salt as Daryl and I were too low drama so they brought in her dad, and asked me for a favor ;) Although I'm pretty bummed they (the editors) used this stupid scene over some of the badass shit that actually happened lol, Steve is weird and off his rocker but I hope he doesn't read half these comments... He saved Emily from being "too boring" that season because of this. Sincerely, Beauryan M Best (if I used my account I'd be in blatant breach of contract lol)

Couldn't agree more !! Don't know who is the biggest fool: Steve, the camera crew, or the diver who puts his life in Steve's hands ...

if i was that diver and i learned what he did or was doing during my dive i would literally kick his ass sideways in such a way he'd never forget....even if it was a month after the fact.......what he did is unforgiveable and egregious and that demands accountability.
