By far my favorite interpretation of this piece. The tempo is perfect. A warm, beautiful, uplifting sound as in no other.

it's very beautiful. In addition to the beauty of the performance itself, the camera work is elegant as if it were shot with a high-speed camera, and the sound of each instrument is as if it were heard in my ears.

I can put this on loop, listen the entire day and not get tired. It is a fantastic piece of art.

to live in a world where something like this is possible cuts through a lot of the mire, thank you so much to everyone involved.

Nice! No mistakes! You can tell this is labor of love. Everyone is great: but especially Lead xylophone spot on. Thank you for posting. I especially like how you all "bring out" some of the less flashy low sections (like Section 10) that I'm hearing in new ways. And kudos to the audio engineer.

Riveting performance! Will be coming back to this one... Pleasantly surprised by the quality of performance from this college ensemble, wasn't sure what to expect but they did amazingly well. The players seemed relaxed and confident, and the slightly languid timing in the pulses (like the "late" clarinets as one commenter complained about) actually feels like strength in this performance- it almost gives the overall sound a sense of greater expansiveness and spaciousness as opposed to super tight pulses like you might hear in certain other renditions. The vocalists were great and I wanted to hear more of them in the mix at times- it was cool how the sopranos were up on their feet and kinda grooving during section VI. Overall, huge kudos to this ensemble which included some clearly younger players for tacking the piece with such spirit and mastery, and also to the sound engineers for a solid mix.

I listen to this almost every night :) None of the other renditions of this on YT come close for performance & sound quality.

This is a brilliant performance of this piece by all players and the sound recording technicians. Thank you everyone for doing this with obvious respect and love and for so generously sharing it. And the best vocal performances I've heard too. So very good in all ways.

This may be my favorite recording of this piece. Both audio and performance are just excellent. Maybe it'll be available somewhere other than KZread sometime…
