Will these devices plugged in ruin car systems?

Two questions. Every time I go on an errand and get back in my car, I click on allstate app and it recognizes me but asks for my password each time. I got emails that I wasn't taking any trips so that's when I started doing this. How does it track do I have to sign in each day? It has recorded some of my trips but I cannot figure out the sign in portion. Lots of times it says there is a problem, password is wrong, sorry we cannot connect at this time, try later. I am wondering when I get in the car if my phone is turned on, do I have to sign in?

Hi Barbara- Sorry for the delay getting back to you. You definetly should not have to sign in every day, it should be running in the background. I would suggest calling the Tech Support team at 877-431-7670, they would be better able to troubleshoot for you. Thanks, Steve

App needs work. OBD unit was much better. App gets the driver wrong when two people are in car. I see reviews that the app logs firefight’s as driving when they are working
