Glad you enjoyed this 😊🎸
Fantastic interview Jamie, many thanks for that ! And NO, you`re not getting loads of hate for saying "Steve is the voice of Deep Purple", because it is simply true. I had the honor to shake Steve`s hands years ago at a guitar workshop here in Munich and it proves again and again: Steve combines musical genius and human greatness in a unique way. Cannot wait to see a new Steve Morse solo album!

Jamie you are such.great interviewer. You have asked questions that know one else has asked Steve. This interview has been such a treat for me. I’m glad I stumbled upon your channel by accident. This was outstanding!!

Thank you so much.
Thank you Jamie for this interview and thanks to Steve for his time. I'm a rabid fan, still unable to play 87% of his music though. Owning a very snazzy EBMM Steve Morse model gets the tone, but neither the speed or accuracy! I'm heartened to hear there is the possibility of new SMB material in the future. I do wish there was better internet bandwidth in Florida!

"...annoy the purists." Single funniest thing I have ever heard Steve say after listening to and reading him for about 40 years.

Thanks for watching.
Great interview: The human element is as important as the musical, because they inform & feed off each other. Neck + Bridge combo is essential on occasions for melodic lead to cut through the mix. I used it for 'Sylvia' extensively. 'Sometimes ... screaming ' from concerto 1999 gig is tops! Thanks for this content Jamie Warm regards Eddie

Man, I hope he releases another album. I have always been happy that he can make a decent living with Deep Purple, but I can't say I was ever a fan of that group, and it has deprived us of original instrumentals from my all time favorite musician. More Morse music!

He's playing with some of the best musicians in the world. Their sound now is very different from their heyday.

@@tcstratman Yeah, I think it's great for most people. Just a personal thing, my favorite musician joined a band I don't care for. Kind of like when Bumblefoot was in Guns n roses. Good for everyone involved, but I don't get any more Morse specific music. I know it's selfish, but that's just how I feel about it.
Hi, recently you commented on another video that it was a backing track from your Lick Library DVD, it was a bt of Gilmour Mihalis, where can I find your DVD? Do you have more Gilmour backing tracks?

Hi there.. yes sadly that guy was posting my video, with out my face in and also my backing tracks!! The videos and tracks are taken from a DVD I have released by Lick Library called “Learn to Play David Gilmour”. You can find it on their website or search on KZread for the preview of the video.
A pitty that Steve’s camera has such a low resolution, also it sounds like there is a noise gate or a cut off filter on his mic which makes that I can’t really hear his playing….

We had a lot of issues with the internet at Steve’s end. He was so gracious and generous with his time, and Wes hot this over three days, I think his camera was ducking the audio. Hopefully I’ll getSteve in the studio next time he’s in Sweden.
