I got to open for Steve Miller in 2019 with my band Brother Oliver. Steve is a class act. We opened for many bands and he was by far the biggest. And he was by far the most hospitable and friendly.

I agree, when you hear one man with a guitar(Steve Miller) then consider Metallica Master of Puppets in the same small space the quality of the audio is excellent, those guys know their stuff.

Classic, Classic voice. One of the first albums I ever heard as a kid was “Book of Dreams”. Played it with my father’s headphones on an old Technics linear track turntable in 1978. I was six and it blew my mind.

I met Steve in the mid-90's at a very small regional airport. I was working p/t as a "ramp rat", fueling aircraft, rolling red carpets, marshalling aircraft, etc. He and his wife arrived late at night on a small corporate jet, bound for a show at the Tacoma Dome the next night. He was nothing but nice, a gentleman, and for me.... a highlight for people I worked with. I encourage all to check out his discography.

I grew up on the "Book of Dreams" album (which infected my soul) as a child, and funny thing, the first band I ever saw in concert was ALSO The Steve Miller Band. Just one listen to the "Book of Dreams" album and you will know why some people call Steve the "Space Cowboy".
