Some real gems in these podcasts are when people like Steve Marino mentions a guy like Matsuo Hiroshi and then Sleaze mentions Nicholas Lemke. As a pretty serious fan of golf who has never heard of those two, I just love hearing about these players who were great but never made it. The networks never ever have stories or mentions like this. These tidbits about these players plus current players and those on the fringes are absolute gold. I remember Sleaze talking about Levin with his darts (cigs), plus Levin arguing with his Dad. These stories are great. Heck, the networks don't even show the parking lots of the courses. At least the Euro/DP Tour has original stuff like last week they showed all of the players being dropped off at the clubhouse. I mean, network broadcasting of golf needs a huge shakeup.

Fun fact: Dunlap also won his US AM at Cherry Hills, 20 yrs old and first Am to win a PGA tour event since Phil, who was also 20 and won his US AM at Cherry Hills.

Wait what? How do you know of Colt Knost? I thought that was what he was known for. I don’t think dude cracked the 125 ever. But nasty on the greens. You must be 25 years old

What ppl don’t remember that year Watson lost was also the year Kenny Perry choked the masters and scumbag Cabrera wins, David Duval and Phil Mickelson choked at Bethpage with a few holes to go, and Tiger lost his first 54 hole lead in a major. Can you imagine what could have happened that year. If Watson would have won, it quite well have been one of the greatest accomplishments by an athlete. Dude was turning 60.

Ouch, right in the childhood, that was a rough year right as my golf fandom peaked. I didn't mind Cabrera's win though, I liked seeing him spark up a fat cigar in the fairway of 72nd hole. That was a brutal tournament and the big man came out on top. I was rooting like hell for Tom though. I've never wanted someone to win a tournament so bad.

Tom Watson and Phil Mickelson. Legendary opportunities for 2 of the game’s biggest pr*cks. 😂

Wasn't it Ernie Ells that referred to LIV golf as a "Circus"? Listen to the Big Easy.🏌
