I love the innocence of the Brooklyn Brawler. He assumes we are all too young to know who Bruno was and that terms like "heat" are unknown. Another great interview.

I came to the comments too when he said that about heat lol wholesome interview
He’s such a big part of the magic …we love you brawler. Queens Howard beach here
Brawler is a class act. Thank you, James.
I hear Welcome Back Kotter theme when I see Steve Lombardi
I delivered a pizza to him once here in Michigan. He was cool, tipped well.

@Tom tell you mom I'm not coming over tonight. It really put me off last time when she had your dad watch , even though she cut the bill by half (so it only cost $5). 😊😉
Without people like Brawler, there'd be no "Superstars" to push.
Man, he aged well. Great interview! Steve seems like a genuine dude.
Love the downtown Bruno stories.
I love Steve Lombardis Road stories of the olden days. So funny with the New York heavy accent. It’s classic thank u James great podcast
Pat Patterson’s old pal
I saw brawler a few weeks ago at the show in Morristown nj. The same one Dutch was at where he talked about seing earl Hebner. Brawler did the best old man match against bushwhacker luke.
Any Pat Patterson questions?

Lombardi always does interviews on conditions that is not asked.
How does this only have 1.6k views? This is awesome!
Another great interview - puttin in work..thanks for this.
Brooklyn Brawler just seems like such a nice guy it really just seems like that guy who loved the business and just got into it
He's a true legend. He needs a doc. I would watch the hell outta that
Love the passion Steve has when he speaks on the business and his years in it. Always smiling and laughing, I enjoy people with positive energy
How has this video not got more views, brilliant, I had the pleasure of meeting Brawler in Belfast when they first toured there in the mid 90’s, top top bloke.
Steve grew up in bensonhurst 18th avenue the heart of the mafia. He probably knew all the guys back then who eventually would grow up to be gangsters. Larry zabisco has a great story about meeting Carlo Gambino I'd love to hear him tell it again
Not one question about Pat Patterson?
The Bulldog,s put LSD in Warrior drink when he was driving, the Bulldog,s were in the back cracking up , and Billy Gram was in the front pissed because Gram saw them cracking up and new they did something to WARRIOR, he was pissed. That's how it was back then, and he was friends with them , YOU couldn't trust anyone back then dog eat dog.

Love The Brawler. Wanted to hear about his time working for a small indy in New York called the NAWA. Joey Styles started out there i believe.
I used to travel a lot for work too. I got the idea to get a portable electric stove because I heard somebody talking about how Nikolai Volkoff would do that in an old shoot interview. I saved a lot of money doing that and ate better than I would've if I hit up the restaurants. Because let's face it, there's no restaurant that is going to make anything as good as home-cooked food. So why not bring it on the road with you?
I saw Brooklyn Brawler & Hulk Hogan at Rosemont Horizon in 86’ or 87’ for the main event.
The BB rules
Nobody did the job like The Brawler Edit, first match against Perfect, that's a hell of a start

I like these interviews. Question: Who is James? What's your history bud? I like your style.

Thanks buddy. No real history. Just a long since lapsed fan who liked the old Kayfabe Commentaries shoots but they have long since stop making content so I decided to give it a go myself. No real experience but I could hardly be worse than the majority of absolutely pathetically awful hosts out there. A few hours of research, the ability to ask questions and then shut up while the guest answers and the balls to put yourself out there is basically all you need. And audio/video equipment of course.

@@WSI Sorry dude, you took the time to type out a detailed reply and I took ages to thank you lol. That's cool bud, I think you have a good thing going here. I like the fact that you manage to interview a wide range of wrestling personalities. Some personal favourites would be the Basham Brothers, Orlando Jordan, Rico, Dwane Gill.... Some guys who I don't hear much about these days.

@@WSIYou're the man, James!
Brooklyn Brawler was as tough as they come!
I never heard packadilos or that word he used haha? I'm like reacting same as Steve boggled. That is cool he knew Schultz or what his name. I remember they have a segment with him pretending to be home with family that had them calling Child SErcices for real on WWF and him :). You missed out on the Princess Bride Andre story :). At least KoKo had one legit win. I liked the Ultimate Warrior stories. I remember when HEenan had him as BRooklyn Brawler it was odd remembering him as Steve Lombardi never winning. The Rock was really raw I wonder why WWF won't show his dark match with him but did the Candido? Maybe because he perished they wanted to like honor him? John Cena Hugh Jackman classic too :). Jenny McCarthy ;).
This guy never drew a dime

Steve Lombardi looks like Dan lauria
Wasn’t he called Steve Lombardozi at one time?
He said he got 1 million downloads?!?! I highly doubt that. Maybe 1 million views or something. There’s a big difference
Great interview, Steve Lombardi had a run as Kim Shee I'm fairly certain 👍
I thought the brawler gimmick should have worked .
