Excellent video! I'd forgotten that Steve was married to Kirsty MacColl, whose father, Ewan MacColl was an important Irish song writer. Steve has really been at the center of some of the most important music of the past 40 years.

Steve Lillywhite is one of my absolute favourite producers. He shaped the sound of many of my favourite artists and albums. And he produced my alltime favourite album THE CROSSING by Big Country.

You forgot morrissey he produced some of his best albums! I’d love you to do a behind the recording on the smiths
The wife says I should be able to get a good sound in my studio with the amount of dust in there.

lillywhite done a great job with the la's album, but I do prefer the original bob andrews version of there she goes from 88
