Beyond the great technical analysis, I think Cameron was trying to help Steve see how much potential he has for golf. Fingers crossed the swing changes help with the back pain and Steve falls in love with golf!

When a teacher brags on their student, particularly one who is not often congratulated, it can mean the world to the pupil. The power of giving from Cameron is imo almost as invaluable as the technical lesson.

The headcover drill there looks amazing for anyone that's struggling with a slice. Swinging around the ball rather than out to in is huge, hence why he puts the large headcover ahead of the ball and to the left -- anyone that slices will slam that thing.

Steve, by far, is the golfer I relate to the most! I enjoy watching him play with the other boys. It doesn't bother me one bit when he is disinterested in the game, as I can be out playing golf and have a ton of things on my mind that make me lose focus. A hurt back can be a game killer for a golf player. Ask Tiger! So, when it seems that Steve is just not that into it, I don't fault him. He is not on the same path as the other guys are on. Garret could turn Pro if he wanted to. Steve, like me, just wants to go hit some balls and have a good time every now and again.

When he has a good day he has an insane feel shot in his short game, incredibly soft hands and his putting is unmatched when he "sees" the line. In fact he just feels it. He just needs to get his feel online, i.e. he must emotionally commit, then I believe he will eventually beat everyone. He would very soon shoot scratch or better.
