This is exactly what Steve needs, a teacher who understands the stress on the back during the golf swing.

That's what Matt needs since his recent back surgery.
Did not know that steve was in an accident like that. Glad he recovered and is still with us.

Steve is the one we all root for.
Beyond the great technical analysis, I think Cameron was trying to help Steve see how much potential he has for golf. Fingers crossed the swing changes help with the back pain and Steve falls in love with golf!
When a teacher brags on their student, particularly one who is not often congratulated, it can mean the world to the pupil. The power of giving from Cameron is imo almost as invaluable as the technical lesson.
Being able to adapt one thing to another as a teaching tool is the sign of a great teacher. Such drastically different result in such a short time just with a little different tweak in the swing. Remarkable
So Steve is just naturally gifted and he didn’t even know it. I’m happy for the guy. My favorite member of the group since I also played soccer and got hurt and now I’m golfing.

Dude didn’t want to spend a lot of time on Steve he had him hit minimal balls and gave him 2 things to work on. He can tell Steve’s head isn’t in the game just by interacting with him

@@VanNuysCountryClub could be but I don’t think he would just lie about Steve just being able to adapt quickly. He’s worked with a lot of golfers so I’m sure he can tell when someone is naturally good and not. Then again he can also tell who’s actually there to learn and who’s not. I guess we’ll never know
This is legit 💪🏼 Steve has so much potential
So glad to see this. Steve putting in the effort. I think sometimes he gives up before they even start because the other guys are on a different level. This kind of stuff will help that hopefully.

@@VanNuysCountryClub I meant at least he is trying (steves level of trying, which I admit is probably pretty low when compared to most hard working people) to get better. Haha
Gone are the days where Steve was hitting his PW on every shot 😂 The amount he has improved in the last couple years is insane and I love him for it.
Great video! This is exactly what Steve needed. His athletism also helped to adapt to this modification to ease stress off his back. And now he has a visual to practice on.
We Hope You Enjoyed The Lesson!

Now do Matt. Who also suffers from back issues!
i love steve, so relatable and just a great guy. i felt like he had been slowly improving as of recent, hopefully this will help and reduce the pain he has when playing
Such an awesome video. I would love nothing more than to see Steve get better without hurting his back. We're rooting for you Steve!!
I love this series. While each member's issue is not my issue, I love hearing how a coach of this caliber analyzes and addresses them. I learn so much!
Ive always struggled with backpain and I can attest to these tips. I had the same problems as Steve and getting a better hip turn took immense pressure off my lower back. I used to hate playing bc of the back problems but as soon as I focused on hip rotation, I love the sport again
I have been waiting for these next vids. The amount of applicable knowledge in the first one was awesome. Each player swings different but the information given is amazing.
Ugh I love these videos so much! I actually learn from them & try this stuff at the range. Love you guys!
This guy is mad good ! Backing up the changes he makes with hard evidence and reasons why followed by the stats to prove it !so many teachers for anything tell you what you need to do with explaining why and the to prove it . He's got to be the best person to analyse a swing
Cameron’s teaching and communication style is a dream.
Great content, phenomenal teaching.
I love when a teacher keeps it simple like this!
WOW! Great job Coach Cameron, and well done student Steve!!
This was cool. Steve has the capability, this gives him the tools he needed
I absolutely love Cam he's such a G he just makes you feel good and fixes your swing at the same time
Awesome to see how easy it was for Steve to get less over the top and more in to out with flush contact. What a stud!
This was awesome, I would love to see a follow up after these lessons to see how the changes are going a few weeks down the road
I had this exact same thing said to me in a lesson last night! same feeling change, swing out to the right. It is great. Can't wait to see Steve dominate in the next money match.
Yo steve, you played INSANE golf in the most recent GG vid... keep up the practice!
Steve is a people's champ! Love seeing his reaction to positive feedback with his swing from Cameron.
Doing this is exactly what made me start hitting the golf ball well. Anytime I start hitting really bad, it's because I'm not rotating my hips enough in the backswing
Really hope that this makes Steve's game easier and gives him that confidence, that always seems to be lacking. Such a great Guy.
Steve looks like a pro… he has natural talent .. really just comes down to how much he wants to be a good consistent player!
I wanna thank you guys so much for this video… I could easily swing so much better after correcting those 2 things. Holy cow the difference 😳
Was this lesson before his round at The National 5 v 5? If so, then I’d say it paid off.

I'd say before cause he wasn't necessarily swinging his whole body at the ball. His tempo seemed different but in a good way 😂

@@alexlc1989 Steve (to me) has always seemed about tempo. When he doesn't try to kill the ball, he hits his best shots.
Takes a lot of courage to change, Steve. Well done! You have the best coach in the business …. The sky is the limit!
I have a torn SI joint on one side of my hip so I get inflammation and low back pain. I hope this stuff helps me too with back pain. I see Steve sit down often maybe because his back gets inflamed as well.
Wow that was a quick lesson with quick result. Steve is talented.
Cameron is an absolute stud, love his coaching style
Steve came a long way, love to see it.
I would love to see more instructional good good content. This kind of stuff is awesome.
Been waiting for this for a year now. Nice
Will never quit rooting for Steve. The man is a treasure
I am going to practice this!! I find myself not rotating my hips as much and having the club up too high!
That Ledbetter look was ….. lol. He’s like , so, did Dave give you led poisoning?
just watching these short teaching videos have helped even my game a ton! what an amazing teacher. now time for him to coach me LOL
Simply proves that Steve is the best golfer on Good Good
The headcover drill there looks amazing for anyone that's struggling with a slice. Swinging around the ball rather than out to in is huge, hence why he puts the large headcover ahead of the ball and to the left -- anyone that slices will slam that thing.
LETS GO STEVE!!!! ABOUT TIME!!! lets get some steve content bois!!!!!
Im going to try this exact drill at the range later!
steve was on absolute fire in the last 5v5 GG video after this little lesson
Solid episode!
That’s awesome for you Steve!
Great video, I have a question maybe someone can answer. The feeling of swinging out to first base/right field is something that feels amazing for me. Driver/long irons the ball starts slightly right and draws back. Shorter irons and wedges it’s always a push out to right. Do I not do that feeling with shorter irons?
Nice work Steve
What a coachable dude. That’s not a skill you can teach. Shoutout to Steve for grinding 🔥
Love Cameron McCormick!! He is an excellent teacher and coach!
Love that Cam is in GG 1/4 zip
2:05 Dave ... lol that look ......... Great simple lesson. The two best coaches atm Cameron McCormick and Eric Chong .. both Aussies !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111
It really sucks how bad that accident left Steve

Lucky to be a live
Steve, by far, is the golfer I relate to the most! I enjoy watching him play with the other boys. It doesn't bother me one bit when he is disinterested in the game, as I can be out playing golf and have a ton of things on my mind that make me lose focus. A hurt back can be a game killer for a golf player. Ask Tiger! So, when it seems that Steve is just not that into it, I don't fault him. He is not on the same path as the other guys are on. Garret could turn Pro if he wanted to. Steve, like me, just wants to go hit some balls and have a good time every now and again.

Honestly I don’t think I could have said this better. And almost every time Steve plays well, you can tell right away his back is having a “good day”.
Shout out Steve! Love ya brutha!

IT’S ABOUT TIME!!!!
If this was before the last Good Good video, it shows cuzz SC was on fire!
You guys need to build an epic Mini Golf course.
Let’s go Steve, was this lesson before the $1000 challenge where you were just striping it and carrying the team
I enjoyed this golflesson very much. Is this trainer easy to book or how long time in advance shall I prepare oneself to be able to book his advice?!🙏⛳️👍 ,… I also heard and was reacting to what You Steve Said about, 4 years ago this awful caraccident that hurt your back,… therefore I now more understand how big your golfgame is ,.. keep on the game of Golf and by looking and watching you play on good good it seems that you still enjoy this game of golf,… because what I learned playing golf. ”It is a game that can’t be won, it can only be played”,.. maybe Tiger Woods, Rory Mciory, Justin Thomas and many more for example do not neccessarly agree with this citation above😂
Wow, that's amazing.
Amazing
Always routing for you Steve.
Rooting for you Steve!
Love this
Let’s go Steeeeeeve!!
That fixed swing looks SOOOO much better
I've dogged Steve many times in the earlier months, but he's been shooting so much better and interacting with the group like a pro for a while now. Good job Steve, you are now one of the better ball strikers in your group. Keep up the good work brother. You are one of the better people to watch now. WEll Done!!! ps: tuck in your shirt "lol" : )
Any tutoring or lesson experience? “David Ledbetter” huge flex right there 😎
3 months ago Steve looked like he was on cruise control. The last 4-5 videos he looks like he's been putting in work
Im so excited for Steve!
steve is goated. him, bubs, and g unit
Dang it. He almost got me on the not needing to practice a lot ending. Almost got away. See ya at the range boys haha

I need to know the distances of the head covers! Looks like the lead one is about 12" off the front foot
Awesome
Steves game has already improved. He has the potential be a scratch golfer easy.
Coach is awesome
does it work in the opposite way if you're too shallow and too in to out causing big draws?
Nice “Leason” Steve If you saw it you know.
“What did Ledbetter tell ya?” Steve: “he told me to give up the game.”

Leadbetter has a mixed reputation amongst the sport. Not sure if it was sarcasm or he was impressed by what he had to say lol
Steve’s main problem the way I see it A: he just doesn’t give a shit about playing and being good at golf Or (and probably most likely) B: he thinks he sucks so if he acts like he doesn’t care people will just think he’s bad because he doesn’t care It’s all about confidence for our boy Steve

He literally said he plays once a month when they record
I’m gonna ignore his last tip and try it anyways my swing couldn’t be any worse than it is now 😂
Been saying it the whole time... Steve is the most naturally gifted Golfer in Good Good and if can figure it out and be able to commit more time to practice he is gonna catch the rest of the guys super fast
He is talented!
I've always said it. Steve in my book has the most talent in golf in GG. When he has a good day he has an insane feel shot in his short game, incredibly soft hands and his putting is unmatched when he "sees" the line. In fact he just feels it. He just needs to get his feel online, i.e. he must emotionally commit, then I believe he will eventually beat everyone. He would very soon shoot scratch or better.
The right teacher can help so much with "back issues"
Can’t believe Steve got a lesson like this
I thought this was going to be a 2 hour episode lmao
Steve def needed that LEASON
