His best kiss was the trophy before he was presented it. He walked up puts his hands behind his back and kisses the trophy. I was OK until that moment. That's when it sunk in we had won it. On the bit about the trophy, when we won it in 81 when Phil Thompson was captain he took it to his local club and then home with him. He got a call next day saying come to Anfield the press are waiting for the trophy to take pics etc.

Infact that champions league trophy made Liverpool the last club to hold the actual champions league trophy after winning it for the 5th time as I'm sure any big fan will know a club must win it 5 times to keep the cup! FIFA done away with this rule after 2005 making Liverpool the last club to hold an actual Champions league trophy...

Bayern won it the 5th time in 2013 and Barcelona won it also the 5th time in 2016. Moreover I think Real Madrid could also hold the trophy after their 10th title

@@Lucca1892 Nope your wrong Liverpool were the last club to hold the actual trophy they don't give it anymore this is a copy of FA Statement: The Champions League trophy isn’t even loaned to the club; they’re given a replica to take home with them. Clubs who won the trophy five times used to get to the original and then UEFA would remake the original. They don’t do that any more. To be honest, as the replicas and the actual trophy are identical, “keeping an original” doesn’t really matter anyone beyond the symbolism.
