1:04 ❤ 🤝 I don't forgive the showrunner for making Steve go and leave his best friend behind. Danny was always by Steve's side, and I really, really like their friendship! That final scene sounds so out of character for me that I just ignore the last two minutes

Totally agree! I found the ending very stupid because that is not Steve's personality. Leaving Danno and all his ohana... He would never have done that. Also, the ending doesn't make sense, because he could also found peace by staying in Hawaii.

Yeah....I think that even with that horrible sad and heartbreaking moment, Steve just will leave Hawai some time...his words and their story tell that. Steve will come back and be forever with his brother, his best friend, his partner not just in work...in life too...Dano...his Dano. I'm sure....!!

Wish Lenkov would read these comments...but then again he's such a freaking narcissist he doesn't care...he never really liked Scott and didn't really care about Scott's or Alex's opinions....Without both of them the show would have been dead...The two of them were the heart and soul of Hawaii Five-O....

i am so agree with what you said. you are 100% right for everything. i was so shocked from the very last scene, which there where no place at all.... and told myself wtf is she doing there....she doesnt deserved that spot at all.

Well said...agree 100% ...Scott and Alex and the fans deserve so much better....Steve telling Danny that the only thing keeping him in Hawaii was his father's murder and handing 5-0 over to Lincoln who they barely knew...another slap in the face to Scott/Danny...I'm hoping that there will be a 2 hour episode to clean up the mess Lenkov left..or a another season with BOTH Scott and Alex...maybe the two of them will write and direct it....And such a good description of "her" Doris 2.0....

Oh just got around to reading this and you hit the nail on the head with EVERY SINGLE POINT!!!Lenkov didn't like McDanno or OCaan..I'm happy though that Scott and Alex are still very close...Scott just said in a recent interview that Alex and he went through so many ups and downs and that Alex " is my brother for life and my family til the day I die.." so no one will ever break them up....# McDanno #OCaan #Nailed It

God, this was beautiful. They deserved better. I know Lenkov thinks he gave Steve his happy ending but what about Danny? 10 years together and he gets left behind. Alone. That's not fair and I can't think about it without my heart breaking, even if it is a tv show

this show doesn't get boring no matter how many times i re watch

So sad. The hawaii-five 0 gave us good examples of union, love and friendship between Steve and his team.

This edit is just perfect!!! I hate the ending so much but I still love Steve and Danny. The end should have been them sitting on the beach having beer together. Basically all things Danny saw in 8x10. You have matched the lyrics to the scene so brilliantly!!! Absolutely love it! Thank you.

This is great. They were such great friends it should not ended the way. i imagine steve coming back to Danno once figured everything out.

It was fantastic ❤️. I loved it so much. I can agree with all the McDanno Fans.. The ending wasn't right. The show started with McDanno and it should've ended with them. Danny could've been the one surprise Steve on the plane.. Maybe just to go with him.. Even if he'll be back later for Grace..

The problem with Catherine is that at the beginning she was a kind and loyal person, helping her friends (not only making favours to Steve) but somehow her character changed and she became mysterious, she kept many secrets, lied to Steve (and left him) disappointing many people, from characters to audience, even getting to be hated by many. It's a pity, because I liked her a lot and now I could barely stand her since. I don't know if this was a direction or script writing thing, but I felt like this was not 'our' Catherine: they spoiled the character to the point that most people would have preferred, as you say, a McDanno ending as travel buddies. In fact, the show would have said goodbye in a big way if they just started one of their arguments before the plane even took off.

Thanks for breaking my heart again. I hate the ending so much. After everything. I just hoped that they would give us them. Romance or friends. I wouldn't even care. But if you just stop the episode on the right time, you won't see the ending I guess. 🤣👍 Anyway, this video was amazing as usual😍. Can't wait for your next one.

This was beautiful! I love them so much urgh. Shipping or not, Mcdanno was truly the heart of the tv show and I think the showrunners forgot that. It's okay for Steve to leave after everything he went throught, but how can they finish the final episode on it? Danny is literally the person he cares the most about, they said it themselves, and he is definitively on Danno's list with his family. They always imagined their future together, and we deserved to see this future for real!

I hate the disrespect Lenkov paid to this beautiful relationship at the end. Shame on him!

They were giving us the McDanno goods up until the very end. The whole finale played out like a McDanno fanfic. The ending could also be viewed as Steve left Danny to protect him because he was no longer safe around Steve

I see people commenting on "not having problems with Catherine". Catherine is not the problem, folks. The problem is that the program was betrayed by a man who turned on him: Peter Lenkov. Hawaii is Steve's home, we had ten years to understand this. The character is passionate about this scenario, and true to his Ohana. Seeing Steve leave EVERYTHING for an escape for no real reason to justify it, was watching the essence of the character being misrepresented. I watched and knew that Steve would never do that. The relationship with Catherine started with a bet, a promise and for years that was what it continued to be. The perfect girl for Steve is the one who assembles a gun in thirty seconds. But who took care of him all these years? Where was Catherine when Steve was almost beheaded by the Taliban, or when his liver was fragmented? The story we were told was not the story of a selfish Seal who loves this girl who is like her own mother. And the ending should have honored our expectations, giving us Ohana and truth. Congratulations for the video

I will forever stay mad at Lenkov. He played with us for over a decade so I should've expected that he would fuck over in the finale but I didn't expect it to be *that* bad. Alex and Scott both wanted the "couple old guys at the beach" ending and that twitchy petty little man did them so dirty it's insane.

I mainly went to Hawaii cause of this show a couple of years ago for my 50th also and loved it it's hard to see it's finishing now. I also had a best mate for over 16years and accused me of something I didn't do I still feel really gutted to this day. I know Steve and Dannos friendship what it's all about

The fact that you were able to make such a beautiful video full of these incredible moments that stretched over ten years...proves what the show was about, why it lasted, and what made it special. Yet, instead of an ending that was worthy and true to all we've witnessed during this time, we were slapped in the face with a scene that felt like it was thrown together at the last minute and went totally off the rails. Thank you for making this video of the incredible legacy that these characters (and actors) left for us.

Okay I watched the first 2 seasons of this show back in the day but then never got back to it. I decided I would give it another shot, but these comments have convinced me not to bother.

The ending of this series made the entire series a lie. 10 years of Steven keeping Danno beside him, of the hugs, the 'I love yous' it all ended as one big lie. Danno never left Steve behind, went after him, sought for him, risked his life for him, and Steve just up and leaves Danno behind. So, my head cannon and screw the writers, I don't watch the episode after Danno tells Steve to leave and go find the bitch that did this to them, I cut off the episode after that. But in my head, Steve realizes he can't leave. He gets off the plane and rushes home. Danno hears the door open, gets up from the couch and turns to see Steve walk in. They say nothing. Just look at each other and a hug to end all hugs. "You're my home, Danno." And then fade out. "Took you long enough, you Neanderthal animal." We hear Danno say over the black screen. And the words: "The Beginning" flash on. Fade out. Done. Over. The ending that should have been. This video made me cry. I loved it. So beautiful. But it still made me cry.
