Heartbreaking. Bucky really did give his life, in the most harrowing way. I really hate what the MCU did to these two. Bucky meant too much to Steve for him to just leave him behind like that, all alone in a world that he didn't feel a part of.

i keep burying myself in positive & fluffy stevebucky fics and when i watch shit like this i remember how much pain they went through and start to reevaluate everything

This made me feel so emotional but like it was so many different emotions, it was amazing! I was just wondering if the part that steve said at the beginning, the "there are men laying down their lives" line was meant to be finished by bucky’s last line: "the thing is, you don't have to", considering your way of having their lines go together as if they were in the movies like that? Anyways, this was really amazing and I love all of your videos!!

yes it was!!! the whole video is about how Steve can have the choice to be happy, he doesn't have to give everything to be Captain America - he has given enough. Thank you very much! I'm glad you noticed that :)

I understand why Steve went back to Peggy because he does seem to be unable to move on from her (and also because Chris Evans wanted to/needed to leave the MCU and this way did make a lot of sense) but also there should have totally been some time that he spent with Bucky before he went back. He knew how much he struggled with adjusting and learning to live in the new world that he woke up in. Bucky's situation was similar except so much worse because, while Cap was just frozen, Bucky went through brainwashing, torture and was made into an assassin (and as we see in falcon and the winter soldier he's so not ok and it all haunts him). He really needs a friend and if there's one character who understands how important friendship is (especially his friendship with Bucky) it's Steve. All three Cap films are essentially him saving Bucky over and over again, he gives up his freedom for him, is willing to put everything on the line for him, but when Bucky is finally there, really there, Steve leaves. I liked the end of endgame the first time I watched but every time since my heart breaks for Bucky. (ok, rant over. Sorry to spam on this video. It's perfect and I'm crying and I'm upset and it's good and these edits make me realise over and over again how beautiful their friendship really is and how just everything wants to ruin them and especially Bucky)

This. This is beautiful. The way you cut the scenes and dialog together is perfect. You made me cry but in a good way that speaks to your talent and the connection you have with these characters. This song never fails to stir up emotions. I'm planning I'm making an edit to the song myself :)
