Loved Steve's skating in the 90s because he skated SO powerfully. Some of the best backside flips ever. I'd never thought of the Luan comparison, but I like that.

Honestly, it was the quality of the game that totally chilled me out. So good. Two friends talking smack and having fun. The quick edit hides how deceptively long this game is. In modern editing, it would be a 10 minute classic.

With all these endless good and bad BATB matches throughout the years I almost forgot how consistent Steve was. Glad to see this one. It's like a sip of fresh air. Good ol' times.

Nostalgia overload. I remember watching this game way back. BATB2 was one of my fav iterations. Also got to skate at this specific Berrics setup in 2011. Good times.

I know 2010 isn’t THAT old, it’s not like early 2000s, but still, skating wasn’t nearly as developed as it is today even then. This game is insane honestly. Just amazing.

Because of travel restriction due to Covid, some battles cant be filmed right now. For instance Jonny Giger comes from switzerland and cannot travel to the US rn for his game of skate

this is just flat ground. When it comes to big stuff and technical stuff id say its definitely progressed. Thats always been the trend with skateboarding since its started, people younger and younger pushing the envelope.

BATB 12 winner will be crowned in 2024 at this rate.

Most legit game with two homies legitimately going out for the culture and fun. Favourite BOTB12 game hangs downs. OGs know how to keep it real. Big love that was pure skateboarding and the energy it should be. So good to see youve never lost that spark.
