That's one of her best features. She doesn't respect authority as it was authority that made her into a murderer. That's why Fury had her work solo when she joined SHIELD. She didn't so much follow Fury's orders as more just agreed with them. Becoming an Avenger helped her start to really get out of her shell, and then working alongside Rogers after Manhattan helped even more. But she never got rid of that damned need to square things with Barton. Clint never considered things to be uneven between them, but she saw it otherwise.

@@JM-xy2nl Definitely for more than one reason. One of them being Cap doesn't see anyone on his team as expendable. He wouldn't order anyone to do something that they'd likely not come back from. SHIELD had a bit of a looser philosophy on that.

Honestly these two are why I get upset when tony gets all butthurt that he’s not Steve’s best friend. Like Nat is there for Steve *constantly* and their friendship is so solid and pure. They could have stayed friends or gotten married and I’d have been happy either way

@@ladykatie3958 right, I was confused about Tony's reaction in CW. He and Steve never had friendship moments, they didn't hang out or anything. Steve's best friends were Bucky, Nat and Sam. I really didn't like that Tony had so much screen time in CA:CW movie. They should have made it an Avengers movie and given us a CA movie about Steve, Nat and Sam doing missions under the radar while Bucky was recovering in Wakanda. We were robbed!

Heck yes! If it weren't for Laura I would totally ship them (listen, Laura's cool, but Nat is basically Clint's introverted twin sister--he's an ESTP and she's an ISTP and their relationship dynamic is one of the best I have ever seen on tv 👌🏼) 💯

The chemistry and dynamic duo of Chris and ScarJo/Steve and Nat are one of my fav in all of the MCU!! They're just so natural and amazing together!!

They're such a great double act, plus so nice to see that two people can be smoking hot but be friends with no romantic tension between them. The fact he's an honourable soldier and she's a former assassin is also a really nice dynamic.

After I watched this movie I realized this, Steve is super protective of Nat in every movie. He makes sure she’s behind his shield or behind him whenever he can.

I wanna know if Natasha was flirting with Steve or Steve flirting with Natasha

someone had this theory about endgame that, while unlikely, they wanted to happen: when steve went back in time, he didn't marry peggy. instead, he just went back to have a final dance with her; after all, peggy got married to a different guy after steve and he would've changed the timeline a little. instead, he went back for nat, and, seeing as she was dead in the later timeline- he knew it wouldn't affect anything else. so, who knows. maybe he did go and live with her, and fell in love with her later on during his time with the avengers. (doesn't make much sense, but wanted to share :). )

He was awkward around women back when he was still a scrawny kid from Brooklyn. That's true. Peggy was hot too, but it wasn't her attractiveness that made him awkward. Steve was never insecure about the way he looked because he never judged someone's worth based on physical appearances. He was simply inexperienced with talking to women at that point in time. Steve was always a man of strong character and that's also what he was looking for in a woman. Peggy just happened to be hot as well. He did get nervous once when Natalie Dormer was aggressively trying to kiss him. But it was only because he's a traditional man from the 1940's. The dynamics between men and women were different back then. Kissing someone you just met was definitely uncommon at the time. In The Winter Soldier, Steve has come to understand that the dynamics between men and women have changed much since the last time he almost had a girlfriend. A woman suddenly kisses him wouldn't surprise him anymore at this point.

2:39 This scene makes me wonder something. Nat is obviously feeling distressed here about the Snap aftermath that she’s still grieving the people she lost. I honestly believe she was worried about all of the people she had lost. We see in endgame that she really viewed the whole avengers team and SHIELD as her true family. Its why she was willing to do what she did in endgame with no hesitation.

I think loosing Nat was the reason that Steve ultimately made the decision to go back to Peggy. I think he would’ve stayed in present day because he felt Nat needed someone like him. But, he went back to Peggy because she was gone and didn’t need him.
