Pure raw true and time tested’ his method of producing and engineering should be continued not only to preserve his legacy but to also preserve the quality of production that he strived to give all of us fellow musicians ✌️🤘👍👌

Great tribute. My fav albums are way too many, but the most recent albums Steve did with me are my favourite. He did my bands Barb Wire Dolls and Prince Of Lilies (I’ve actually recorded 10 albums of music with him since early 90s starting at his basement house studio. Rest in peace dear Steve. Thank you for everything

“Rid of me” is good, and I see why so many people are fond and nostalgic for it. It’s very 90s. PJ Harvey’s true fans know that she has never stopped making incredible records, and they just get more and more interesting. I put on “rid of me” now, and the creativity pales in comparison to her records from the last 15 - 20 years.

I love that he 100% believes in something and his passion for getting it correct. I really enjoyed in utero recording style. I loved the album because it does not sound dated obviously some of that is Steve's handy work . RIP

He was also responsible for the last collaboration of Robert Plant and Jimmy Page to date when he engineered and mixed Walking Into Clarksdale (Page and Plant produced it).
