    @@sergiocuevas7589 I was looking at the 400×4 rf as well. It's definitely in my top 10 of choices. I know I want more power than 100×4 because I plan to run as many speakers as possible from whatever 4 channel I end up with. I'm replacing a 350 watt rms dual 4 channel , so I want to step it up quote a few notches lol. But i am also trying to stay under 200 and even under 175 if possible. So I'm looking at soundqubed s100-4 as my top pick and I'm basically stuck between that amp or skar rp150.4 or the pioneer gm8604. Right now I'm leaning towards none of the above and going out on a limb for the massive audio blade 1500.4 amplifier. I've had good luck with massive audio product and that amp looks very nice and claims great ratings and features. But I know nothing about it except what the website says. So I may just try it. It claims 240×4 @2ohms. Even if it doesn't quite get that much power it could end up being very nice. $119.00 bucks man it may be a gem lol

  • @sergiocuevas7589

    @sergiocuevas7589

    Massive clean power for full range is not cheap. You gotta compromise sound quality for power in a class D. A class A/B will ALWAYS sound cleaner than D, but they are bigger in size. Throw a $200 budget cap and you’re stretched out even thinner. For my SQL truck I’m running a T600-4 class A/B amp for 4 T2 6.5 components and the amp runs them with ease. For my SQ truck I have the Zapco sq (which starts at $200) running Kappa components and the sound is audiophile grade BUT half as loud as the t600-4.

    @@sergiocuevas7589 the amp I'm talking about is class a/b full range with bandpass option and cea 2006 compliant rating and only 119 bucks and it's loaded with all sorts of filtering features ect. It's definitely between the pioneer, the soundqubed and the massive audio blade amp. I'll prob go with the massive audio because it has alot of power and I'm sure it will sound good. 240×4 @2ohms is plenty of power to push a few tweeters and coaxial or mid range speakers. Anything will be a upgrade to what I'm using now for my highs and mids. I can't complain now at all either. My shit is crazy loud.

    Even though the wires were connected incorrectly, I still see a practical use for this amp. It can be used as a stealth amp for those who have an aftermarket head unit, but still rocking the stock "special" speakers (i.e. Bose) and want just a tad more power going to them in conjunction with the stock "amp". This will be especially for those who have 90s/00s Nissan & Infiniti cars with those Bose setups.

    To be fair, Stetsom states those power ratings at 2 ohms. They openly rate the amp at 45W RMS @ 4 ohms. It's actually not bad for the price.

    At 4:51 are you sure you have it bridged properly? Looks like you have both positives connected for bridged mode, while it is showing Left + Right - as the bridge function/connections! Not one to question your knowledge, but it looks like you are using the Left +, Right + to bridge two channels! Just looked down and well, someone noticed it as well!

    the distortion indication on the dyno isn't designed to be used on any frequency other than 1khz or 40hz the notch filters inside of it are set to those frequencies, any other frequencies played show up immediately as distortion once you apply them as you can see during the 4khz test those aren't valid numbers on the 4khz test
