I do these videos extremely fast and it's always a risk to do mistakes, and of course I managed to do one here. "La Cumparsita" was written by Gerardo Matos Rodríguez from Uruguay, and later lyrics were added by Pascual Contursi from Argentine. It's the most famous tango song - that is why I associate it with Argentina. But it is originally a song from Uruguay. Very sorry for this! I will do better research next time.

Everything sounds Spanish or Brazilian when Lucas plays it on guitar, and everything sounds Russian when Sergey plays it on accordion... great just to hear it though, and while I found a lot of the pieces more authentic or semi authentic than stereotypical, I laughed my ass off when El Condor Pasa came up for Peru, I still insist there's more Paul Simon than Quechua tradition in that song. [EDIT] Nope. As many commenters have pointed out, El Condor Pasa is indeed Peruvian: the melody, at least, is from a groundbreaking 20th century Peruvian zarzuela by Daniel Alomia Robles. Still no info on the original lyrics.

amazing! the accordeon guy is unbelievable
That was so talented. You make me found the best of bossa nova by Brazil. P.S Thank you very much for Russian korobeyniki, not Kalinka or Katusha
So hard to guess many of those. And amazing songs, so many bangers. Great performances!
Love the accordian and guitar duo!
Hey man I am from Albania. You nailed that one. Keep up the good work
Can you please make an accordion version of the new Zealand song? That sounded really nice!
Brahms (german) - Hungarian dance 5 - Hungary Mozart (austrian) - Turkish march - Turkey? (But in video "Austria". Logic?)
Great performance of each song. Love the "Condor pasa" from our andes folklore. You can check some peruvian valses too, they are beautiful
Isn't it crazy what wonderful music this planet has in store - and that's just a fragment -

It is world music! Why separating them in countries?!
I would never have chosen Andreina over something like Alma Llanera for Venezuela’s stereo typical song but, it’s a glorious piece. Absolutely gorgeous. You played it well. Lauro wrote some beautiful stuff.
I am from Russia and I was so hoping that this music set would include a song from my country and I was very glad to finally hear a song from my country at the 25th position))))) Thanks)
