Even though this song is 50+ years old it still gets the juices flowing and reminds me of how lucky we are to still have the genius of Paul McCartney walking the Earth.

Kelly fucking Jones.This guy can sing anything.

Beatles are so hard to cover properly. This is an excellent version. 10/10

Trim Prism Probably the worst Beatle cover I've heard, the vocalist misses the whole style of the music

Amazing. Great song by the Beatles and brilliantly recreated by the Stereophonics.

I can't pay Jones any higher compliment than i feel he one of a very small group of singers who would have actually been brilliant enough to sing for The Beatles. What a voice...

When they did the 50th anniversary of Sgt. Pepper, the Stereophonics had apparently rehearsed the title track, but were down to do the reprise. They learned it, played it, and got a compliment from Geoff Emerick or someone similar. I'm not a fan, but they earned a lot of my respect from that

The greatest Beatles cover I've ever heard in my life!

A great Beatles number and yes it was definitely one of Paul's but what we often forget is the interaction between Paul and John when songs were being put together. Paul took his raw song around to John's house and THEY then finished it off. John recommended a few changes to the lyrics and hey presto you have a magnificent finish. Both the guys did write and produce songs completely on their own but an awful lot had elements added by either one to the others songs and we should not forget that occasionally both George and Ringo suggested some lyrical or musical changes without getting credited for it.

I don’t know how I got here, but WOW ! Absolutely amazing job of arguably my favorite tune ever. Thanks for sharing !

This is one of the best Beatles covers I've ever heard. Beatles tunes are surprisingly hard to cover....they RARELY sound as good as the original (and usually sound laughably ATROCIOUS). But these boys have nailed it! Well done =)

yesterday is the most covered song of all time i am told,

i enjoy these modern versions of 60s classics - i have this curiosity of how the songs from back in the day (50s too) would sound if they were recorded now. and i like what i heard here. was a bit by-the-book (despite slightly uptempo), but quite enjoyable.

its just a simple kinda rock n roll song. Well.. its simply amazing

Remember this on the radio at work.really good version.

This is an awesome version. Kelly really brings it up to another level. Lennon would have liked this.

To take on a song like this you have to have the confidence to go for it Kelly Jones is a guy who can sing anything and make it sound cool

Excellent job. What a great song.

Awesome. To say it was too fast, would be like saying the girl was too pretty. It was right on, especially when the drummer kept really tight eights and was in the pocket throughout the song. He was on fire, btw. Lead guitar was schweeet - only Tele and such a rootsy playing style could have matched the vocalist's raspy voice, wish I could sing like that! Bass player was really laid back, fitting the song. His sound, instrument and touch was well chosen - semi-acoustic bass and a pick - fantastic bass playing. I approve.

It's true, i've been trying to play this song in multiple ways on rhythm guitar over the last 2 years, i never quite sound like John.

i play bass its a simple rif but quite demanding cos of the tempo.. always thought richard was a mediocre player but his playing here is first class tho using a pick certainly helps

My man mr kelly jones.

Way better than the Beatles ever did it. These guys can actually play and Kelly Jones (like all Welsh singers) has got some serious lung power. That's some very pretty lead guitar riffs during the bridge. Love the bass line. Reminds me a little bit of Donald "Duck" Dunn. Duh-duh-duh-duh. Nice. If you listen to the Beatles, they were ragged. All over the place. Ringo couldn't keep a steady beat to save his ass. But these guys are super-tight. Rolling Stones tight. Can't get no tighter than that. I'd buy their stuff. Sure.
