That "Wonder if we'll meet again" line always hits me hard. Reminds me of all of the people I've crossed paths with throughout my life. Some were dear friends at one point and we just grew apart over the years. Not a sad feeling. Just always wonder if we'll meet again.

17 years old, senior year of High School. My dad had lost his job during the recession and I was making $7/hr at an Old Navy helping my family out. Somehow I managed to support them, myself and a gf at the same time. I got 3 of my friends a job at my store and they helped me make those minimum wage retail days so much fun. This song was one of the 12 I could fit in this little cheap MP3 player I had gotten for free at my job. It was 128MB but this song highlights that time in my life. God I love music and this band is severely underrated.

Strange how music can act as a tap to such specific and detailed memories. When I hear this song, I remember standing at a bus stop with this in my discman waiting to go to work in a little train station bookstore. It was 2005, and I was in the midst of some romantic tumult that would ultimately result in the end of that relationship. It felt like the end of the world. I remember the cold, and the road looking slick and wet. I remember the smell of grass, moss, and wet black soil. I remember wondering what might happen next. Not six months later I was living in Tokyo, and singing this song in a karaoke booth under a few too many cups of sake. Now I think about it all again in my middle years. Moments of that seemed so weighty with significance at the time, that are now just little bumps in the road. Just as this moment will be in 5 or 10 or 20 years time.

I heard this song for the first time five years ago when I met a Welsh girl who was visiting my country (Palestine), she introduced me to Manic Street Preachers and Stereophonics (hadn't heard of them until then). We got drunk one night and listened to this song all night long, played air guitar and drums and danced goofely. Long story short, we're now married and have a beautiful daughter, I'll visit Wales next summer with her to meet her family and maybe go to a nice rock concert.

This song reminds me of my sons as I was told how they went to watford to watch middlesbrough play atford and how they got kicked out of a hotel for fighting each other when drunk but ended sleeping in car back as friends, brothers laughing about there stupidity i was told that after my youngest son Mark passed away aged 23 in car crash i went to a pub four days after his death and stood watchign karaoke and someone sang this song i struggled not to crumple to the floor , this song is massive to me

I also watched it. It was great. We should see more of the stereophonics instead of some of the modern stuff.

Hello, how are you doing today? Thanks for your love and support💖🎵
deep, complex lyrics aren’t always needed to make a great song. someone’s voice & passion alone can turn any simple lyrics into a full bodied anthem. been listening to this since I was 9 and it never gets old🖤
I love the opening so much.
It’s a hard feeling accepting that the time we had together is in the past, never to return.
Just saw this live in Cardiff playing it with Coldplay. Was insane!!

nah… i think we just didn’t hear about all the chaos going on every second of every day.
I think all of us can relate to this song. This song is for those who knows what it means to have that special girl in your 20's (more ore less). I speak for me when i say this. Because this song reminds me of my true love, reminds me of the only girl i loved and felt something for her (still do). It's a very sweet thing to experience, a truly love in your youth. You two don't make plans for the future, only living in the moment. This is why this song reminds me of her. Especially when he says: "Wake up call, coffee and juice, remembering you, what happened to you? i wonder if we’ll meet again, talk about life since then, talk about why did it end...

How any musician can compose such deep, intricate and complex harmonic structures such as this song simply astounds me.

Jack Whitmore Life now is way better, but for some strange reason, I yearn them, there was something magical about those years. Looking back, they were pretty shitty, and let me tell you, you are going to miss them too, 10 years from now. So make the best of them, cause they won't come back.
Epicness made music! 😎
SLAY! my stepdads fav song!XX
One of my favorite songs ever. I come back to it every couple months and it gets me lost in the moment every time I listen to it
This song was a song that I happened to listen to after my life was shattered. ...I dont know where we are going now, was the theme of my life for me and my 4 children, at that moment... wonder what happened to you, wonder if we'll meet again... so many little phrases that defined my situation. Just the right amount of alt, rock, anger, and melody to be a near perfect song. It popped into my playlist 3 days ago. I was with my son, 22, and it punched me in the gut. Almost brought me to tears. I've listened to it a dozen times this week, and I can honestly say, Take A Look At Me Now!
Brings up memories of heading off to festivals and gigs🎉, the mid 19s were golden ❤
I miss the era this song reminds me of💖 life is so beautiful and I'm forever grateful for music like this
