Stereoisomerism
You can't play music with stereoisomers but you can earn marks in an exam with them. This video will look at geometric isomerism (aka E-Z isomerism) and optical isomerism. There is also a look at what enantiomers, chiral and racemic means and application to pharmaceuticals.

I love your explanations - everything now makes so much sense! THANK YOU!!

Thank you so much for all of your videos, they are so so helpful. You are such a good teacher!
The model used is perfect for understanding, even a 6-year-old can understand. Thanks, sir, you have saved my grade
Thanks so much, you are a really good teacher! This has really helped me with my access to HE chemistry assignment
That model finally makes sense what it means by ‘restricted rotation around the double bond’. Thanksszxx

Hi i was wondering if you have a video on CIP priority rules for OCR. Thanks
Your videos are amazing. Do you cover all the content for Edexcel? Is there any sites you think are good with practise q's and answers?
Sir, How can we tell if the double bond in a ring structure is capable of showing cis-trans isomerism?
sir do 1-methyl 3-cyclohexene will be optical active or not?
Very helpful! Thank you 🙏🏻
What about the lone pair of electrons?are they regarded as a group attached or not?
When given a molecule in a question, how can we tell which branches to draw with wedged or dashed, or normal lines?
Really disappointed that you have not kept the old specifications playlist, trying to find the videos now have been really difficult. Anyways, great videos as usual! Very informative and useful, my exam is in 3 days!!
