    The power output would be the same if it was 12V 7A, or 12V 2A. The amperage the battery can supply is just that, what it can supply, not what the circuit consumes.

    @@creativechannelpro371 doubtful. Assume a maximum voltage of 12V for the supply, and around 6V p-p at the output because of how inefficient this circuit is. If each speaker is 8 ohms, then we take half the peak-peak voltage, which is 3 ^ 2 / 8 = ~1W. This, would be probably closer to being correct.

    Well, no. The positive "rail" is on each positive speaker post making this the "common" rail (most normal single-ended amplifiers use the negative rail as the common). Therefor, the speakers maybe in series with themselves (albeit reverse polarity to each other), but to the circuit they're considered separate.

    I would say the output would be closer to 1W of amplifier, so should be fine. However, there's DC voltage flowing through the voice coil of the speaker all the time being Class-A, therefor the speaker would burn out after time anyway. This is a very BAD implementation of an amplifier. Really should be an output transformer in place of each speaker driver.

    I make this circuit but when i turned on there is always humming sound comes from speakers when i use the transformer but when i use smps supply the humming goes. But i want to use the transformer what i do...What was the reason what can i do now..

    This because of high amps . Better if you use 5 volt and At least 1amp supply. Low amp better result please try. You can Use Voltage regulator to reduce transformer Amps . 7805 or 7809 . Thanks for comment

    Yes see High amps high humming sound bro its better if you use low amp supply If you have normal USB charger just cut any USB cable and use Charger as power supply.

    Any power transistor with a Hfe of around 160, collector voltage in this low powered instance is irrelevant, but you'd want a collector current capability of around 5A should do. So, TIP-35C/TIP-36C, 2N3055/MJ2955 for example.

    That's because it's not biased correctly. And, if I'm not mistaken, this is a Class-A amplifier; DC power shouldn't be running directly through the voice coils of the speakers.

    How can this be a stereo amp when 2 spekers r in series? It mayaswell be 1 speaker with half the ohms 2, 8ohm spekers in series makes 4 ohms 1 channel at least make a 2 channel amp and not 1 bridged channel

    They're not in series. The positives of the speakers form the common rail. In this case, it's positive that's common, not negative. And, yes. I know the common rail on the input side is negative; it's just the positive is common to the speakers, not the amplifier.

    That's because DC runs through the voice coil of the speaker all the time the amplifier is running. No speaker will last long with DC running through it.

    Around 1W my guess would be judging by its topology after I drew it out correctly on paper so I could see what was going on. It's a basic two-stage Class-A amplifier with very low efficiency and badly biased (distorted).

    It work, but the sound is so bad and the speakers can burned. Basically it work because is the base. But needs a driver transistors and more resistens and capacitors. The sound is so bad and the problem of burn the speakers.

    @@creativechannelpro371 DC is going through the speaker at all times. Any speaker will be destroyed after time. An output transformer would solve that issue. This is Class-A, so the "150k" resistor should be chosen so that half the supply voltage appears between +V and where the negative speaker terminal is. This should clear up the distortion. You're probably looking at a resistor value closer to 1M.

    Very bad design. You don't run DC thru the speakers! It's not even a real push-pull design. Instead the npn / pnp transistors is connected in a strange series / paralell configuration. A lot of these on KZread these days. If you love your speakers, don't build this crap. If you want to build an amplifier, get a decent schematic, or buy a kit on Ebay or elsewhere..

    It's probably not powerful enough to blow your speakers. Anyway, bad design. I can build a 300W amp for $50 on Ebay, instead on wasting money on something that is useless.
