This has to be 3rd single from the album please it just has to be, without a doubt the best song on the album the best album track this had to be 100% a single it’s brilliant The verses are so emotionally deep the chorus has europhoric feel I was worried on my first listen Lee would be forgotten but our boy sings the entire middle 8 and songs lead on the last chorus and sings the outro We need a video for this song it will be a tragedy (pun intended) if this song is not selected 10/10

Strong and well crafted songs.

This is what I mean. Super production, love the high nrg bass, and beat. The melody is sad but superstrong and really a Steps song. For me this is one of the best songs on the album. Maybe I'm gonna buy the original album (I've got all their others) because this song lifts the album up again for me. Super classic beautiful song.

This has a rlly nocturnal, city like feeling, something I’d never expect from Steps. Love it 🥰

This has to be a single please... with a 12 minute extended version! I never want this song to end.! 'Forever seems like long ago, all we used to know, we've left it behind' - that's 2020 summed up! Amazing song! And as other people are saying Lee sounds divine. Possibly now my favourite Steps song f all time.

I love that this song and the album as a whole is moodier then Steps' previous albums but still feels SO Steps

Some of it is quite moody but I'm sure when they do it live, in true Steps style, they will be smiling when they are singing it.

definatley a singles contender. credit steps for finding such incredible songs to record. this is just soooo goood . nothing on the air like this. this would bw a great follow-up to heartbreak in the city and a pt. 2 video completing the story line

I'm gutted this has not been a single !!! I would have loved this song to be selected as a single ! The video would have been brilliant and moody ! This album was released at the right time when we were in a cataclysmic pandemic ! The album has a dark and melancholic side following ABBA's sound and style ! Every Steps album has ABBA vibes and in this one, "Something in you eyes" sounds like what ABBA could have done in 2020 !

@@djjdsydneyloads of people can “hear” similarities in songs. Doesn’t mean there’s a sample. Plus, if there was a sample, it would have to have been acknowledged prior to release otherwise The Pet Shop Boys would have sued Steps by now.

It's got a touch of that Neverending Story vibe to me. Something unapologetically 80s. But the chorus lacks a little. Overall I love it.

I'm directing The Brady Bunch-style music video for the song!

In all this time I still dislike H's voice. We need more of Lee's voice. Such a shame it's going to waste.

I had hoped this would be their best album in years and and for some it probably is but I find it an album of average songs with a hi nrg beat to them, melody is missing to most of them, Tears on the dance floor was a far better album,if I was scoring it I would give an average if 6/10. I love steps but this album has let me down. Sorry.

"Something In Your Eyes" and "Heartbreak In This City" are some of their most melodic songs ever I think, so I was surprised to hear a few people say similar to you. I do think a lot of the songs are more growers however. For instance, "Father's Eyes" some find "goes nowhere", but I think it's one of the finest things they've put their name to, reminds me of later day ABBA.
