Another helpful vid….. keep them coming!

Awesome vid - this is exactly what I’ve been doing and lately the ships location shows unknown for several hours at times. Just leave it go to bed and it’s stored in the am. The visual inspection is important as just putting it on the hanger and storing again doesn’t seem to bring the cargo back. Keep up the good work!

This was very helpful thank you! In my case it took several hours for it to show up at the home port. Not ideal, but if you have another ship to play with then waiting is no problem.

Yeah I don't know why it can take longer for some to show up, but I have seen this happen by a few people. Glad it worked out in the end.

I had issues with my internet connection recently and noticed that the 30k protection kicks in also when you pull out the ethernet cable of the PC and get disconnected.

30k works about 30% of the time for me; and when it does I find it takes 24 hrs for ship to maybe be claimable at home station; Once ship shows as destroyed I'v never seen it recoverable..

Don't know why it does that for you, but for me it's more like 70-80% even if it says destroyed.

when it had CTD cause of ram overflow, i quickly start the game again and i was able to rejoin, even without group.

Yeah as Cell said, sometimes if you can quickly get right back in, it puts you right back in. CTD is more luck of the draw which sucks.

@@CasaBLACK in most cases CTD happens, when you ran out of virtual memory ... happens from time to time if you have other apps in the background, so setting virtual memory (pagefile ) to dynamic is the recommended way ...

So the C2 is a Courier ship?

Besides being faster and carrying more cargo then the Cat, what’s better about it 😂

Works 99 % of the time .... but ... I got screwed the other day as it 30k'd at the exact time I hit sell. It never paid me and it never returned the cargo. It got stuck in limbo I guess. 1.2 M down the drain. So ya ... it's not perfect. But yes .... your tips are dead on.

Thank you and yeah that blows so you have my sympathy. I've literally had that happen as well and so everytime I hit sell and then it takes a minute I'm over here panicking!!

definitely more than 15min for me 45min still nothing, but gonna be patient i have 2.5m of drugs to sell x)

Yeah, the initial time was 15 mins, but it seems to be taking some players hours if not the following day. Hopefully this is something they can addrewss with the next update.

As many have noticed, sometimes the ship showing up can take hours. Not always, but sometimes so if the load is worth it, try waiting or checking the next day.

Don’t run trade in 3.19.1. It’s broken. I lost an entire C2 full of titanium after storing my ship. It’s a known bug. If you want to gamble on losing your cargo I guess it’s fun. 30k’s are the least of your concerns. If the cargo isn’t lost when you store it, you’ll lose it to a 30k, lol.

I’ve lost several C2’s full of Laranite but doing this trick and sometimes waiting a day for the ship to be retrievable saves me 9/10 times

@@MacheteJake I’d rather wait for the game to work than wait two real life days to retrieve my cargo. Lol. Game feels more like a “shitty day” simulator more than anything else. Testing the player’s ability to remain calm when shit hits the fan and nothing works as intended.

I have had zero problems when landing at NB Surface Entrance to sell my cargo, even if it 30K's and I have not had to wait a day for my ship so thats new to me, but still if its not in a place for you to play right now, thats fine. See ya around when it meets your standards and hope you find something cool to play in the meantime.

@@CasaBLACK I’ve been a backer since 2016 I know the drill. Can’t wait for it to be a game instead of a tech demo. After 10 years you’d think we’d have something to do besides the recycled game mechanics we’ve seen so far.
