Miss this genre of pop music

I remember watching Steps with my aunt when I was 5 or 6, and then we would always dance with these kind of songs back then, now I am already 19 , and my aunt died last year due to heart enlargement, time flies so fast.

I was born in the late 80s and grew up listening to so much different genres of music throughout pretty much every decade. I do love my 90s music though it’s taken me a while to realise that steps is definitely a guilty pleasure for me

Funny how I distasted these songs when I was growing up. Now at 38yrs old, I wait for the friends to go home and the wife and kids to go to bed, I then put these songs and remember the good ole days.

Steps were ABBA of the 90s - good clean,catchy fun music that will be listen to by generations millions of years from now thats what the term timeless actually.

I wish I had known about Steps when I was a kid. Their music makes me happy. I love this song and the video is the most 90s thing I’ve seen and I’m loving it.

Listening to this, while remembering the good memories. No bills.. no adult problems. Hahaha..

Almost twenty years, and I still feel the magic of this. When it first came out on MTV channel back then, I was having a crush with a classmate. She was cute, to me, and I didn't even have guts to tell her that I liked her. We were like in Third Grade and only just reaching 8-9 year-old.

may be nature is prompting you to listen again to some meaningful and immortal songs that were once sung in a bygone era.... who knew that these songs/groups would hold this kind of popularity/value after so many years??... there's a reason behind the popular adage "Old is gold"!!... and it's not that newbies, don't have any talent as such, on the contrary they are more talented than their older counterparts, but the only thing they lack is the involvement and importance which they should give to their lyrics or singing, compare today's hit song to the most underrated/flop song of the 80's/90's... and you will instantly know the difference!!....
