haha omg They used to make us watch Joes vids every moring Mon-Fri 7:30am and if anyone fell asleep they got double chores for the day. Happily to say I never had to do the chores... but I never said I didnt fall aseep once or twice! Now 26yrs later and clean, I appreciate everything Innervisions through at me, even Jos videos at 7:30am! Blessings!

Most of the info offered by Joe is very helpful in this video. Im grateful for his discussion beginning at step one, a great refresher starting at step one ending at step nine. Ive not worked or lived the AA program perfectly but grateful to be able to work and live it progressively.

Paul Leach,Thanks so very much for your You tubes of Joe loved all this important information, do you have the funeral of how many people went to it? I saw a you tube on Charlie P, a lot of bikers ect and what of Joes sponsor the first Charlie Clark any info on him? I mentioned Joe and Charlie at a 7 am Snohomish Wa, Sky Valley meeting and was told to my face, Joe Mc Q and Charlie P are NOT A/A. I was floored. At that meeting only A/A meeting material. Who is in charge to change that, after all Joe Mc Quany went through to help us. I think its odd we can sit and listen to opinions of Alcoholics however not Joe Mc Q and Charlie P. Insanity.Another I really like is Wally P on "Back to Basics" he will be in Seattle WA in Aug, and Bob D, why so many people are at 30 years and 10 and 5 years not recovering.Thank You for getting the real program out there, I for one would not get it sitting in the rooms, the program is the steps, and a good sponsor to guide us. It can be hard to re grow up! Thank You Again Paul,Beth

Hi Beth many thanks for this - it was and is vital to me to have this information out there in particular Joe. I used to attend a study led by one of Joes protégés and I suppose I fell in love with not so much the program but what it promised me when these things were done. A cast iron guarantee which stands to this day. I will have a look for some things on Joes sharing partner . I saw something like you mentioned with the bikers at Charlie Parmleys funeral but by all accounts old Charlie kept a very low profile. I have quite a bit of Wallys stuff- he's great. I get completely what you say about the face to face groups- many are populated by folks who can just quit on fellowship and the sounds of their own voices. For me that was not the case and I ended up like a lot of alcoholics almost dying in the rooms whilst feeling like an outsider in my own fellowship. Thankfully I met a couple of guys down the line who knew what they were talking about, knew how to use the book and were clearly not the same people they were when they started in. Thank God for them, they saved my life and I will be forever grateful to those guys. Go well my friend, much love to you. Namaste, Paul 🙏

"Doesn't say when to, but when not to.'" Good for every day life. You don't have to get dramatic about it, just say what you have to.
