It's true what he says about Cooper. And he looks so adorable I could just hug him forever. Stephen is hilarious on his own, Jon is too, but I especially love when they're together. Together they are unstopable!! Laugh-inducing army of two, people.

I love when he switches from Stephen Colbert to "Stephen Colbert." His voice and posture changes.

aside from being urbane, erudite and charismatic, colbert's satire is brilliantly sharp. but his real genius is in never being supercilious or malicious. his humour is so good natured. it is impossible for anyone, even the people he so brilliantly satirises, not to be completely charmed by the man. a tour de force! A very Unugly American.

I keep trying to post the link to the entire interview, but I'm unable to post it in the comment section. To see the entire interview, just go to the Charlie Rose website and type "Stephen Colbert" into the search engine. Or you can send me a message and I can give you the direct link to the page.

The "Weimar Republic" was the German state after World War I. So it was the current government (Germany's first democracy). And in that time political and social comedians where quite numerous (as where political parties and fractions). But that didn't stop Hitler from completely taking over, when he rose to power...

mmm. you got personal... I wonder why? I studied Industrial Eng. and my IQ is 144 (more than 5th grader)... Jon and Stephen show videos of politicians saying one thing today and saying the opposite thing 5 years ago... CNN doesn't do that... I like that: show people that politicians work in a double standard environment, depending if it is convenient for them... don't get personal if you can make a point in a logic way with some facts.
