Stephen Murray | British BMX Hall Of Fame | King Of Dirt

Спорт

The first-ever British BMX Hall Of Fame took place on November 5th, 2022. What a night! Here's the show opening and the first Induction of the night, Stephen Murray for the King of Dirt category.
Stephen Murray began racing BMX in November 1983 at just 3 years old. By the time he was 16, Stephen had been British Champion 9 times. However, his real passion was dirt jumping so he moved to California to live with Dale Holmes, Neal Wood, and Paul Roberts. Stephen went on to win the 2001 X Games. Two weeks later he won the Gravity Games and then an accident in Baltimore shocked the world in 2007 at the Dew Tour Dirt contest. Stephen was paralyzed from the shoulders down and from that day onwards his life would take a very different turn. Though he lost the use of his body, he never lost the fighting spirit that took him to the top of his sport and saved his life. We are proud to welcome Stephen Murry into The British BMX Hall Of Fame!
