    You'ld be supprised how bad a lot of physicists are at it. Hawking was a notable exception (I suspect more out of neccessity than anything) he had a stunning ability to work through pages of maths in his head.

    Despite his love for the stars and space, it seems Stephen Hawking was very down to earth. A gifted mind with a heart of gold. Still miss him to this day

    Such a shame Stephen Hawking never got to have a cameo in Doctor Who too as Star Trek and Doctor Who are two ongoing sci-fi franchises that both started in the 60s.

    @@JudahMaccabee_ I don’t think Newton and Einstein will have to worry - high school physics will see their names are never forgotten. I didn’t get beyond more than a few weeks of physics, but if black holes are also taught at high school level then Hawking will continue to be mentioned as well.

    Stephen Hawking is a national treasure to Society. it sucks that he never received a Nobel prize, but we all know how important he is in the history of science. Even though he was an atheist I always loved him and I believe he was a great man.

    I have a certain contempt for Albert Einstein's existence. No matter the timeline his equations lead to the discovery of atomic weapons and in other timelines he creates a time machine to remove Hitler setting off an even more destructive war by the Soviet Union. My contempt for his existence is immeasurable.
