I've been questioning the same thing, and my thought was that because this world is created as equal. So, there must be suffering in order for people to know how it feels like to be happy and appreciate it. Those events are harsh and sad. But there are also tons of events that are sweet and happy to make it equal. Like a cry of a newborn baby and how happy their parents felt when they were born. Like the sunset, the bird singing in the morning, chocolate cake, and so on. I am a muslim, I believe that everything was created as equal. And if a child died, they will surely go to heaven. And it also needed to test our faith, because believing in God needs a lot of faith. God has make signs of his existance in this universe, and we're just one of his creatures, so it is up to us to believe. may Allah guide you. have a nice and beautiful day.

I think a man who has suffered so much with a serious illness should know a think or two about god! He doesnt want to die and has fought a brave battle for many years and if he doesnt believe in the afterlife he is braver than I thought. Knowing that after you die it literally is the end takes alot of balls to come to terms with. He is my hero.

Jesus is God and it says in John 1 that Jesus existed in the beginning. So Christianity really is before all other religions. And true Christianity is not a religion, but is having a personal relationship with Jesus. I know Jesus because He is in my heart/spirit. I hear Him speak to me in my heart/spirit. I fellowship with Him, and know Him also through God's Word, ( the Bible) which was written by men of God, who God spoke to in their hearts/spirits. And they wrote what God told them to write. I've seen plenty of things since I got saved in 1986, that prove to me that God the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit are all in One the true God.

Jesus was the son of a women that filled his head with stories of being the son of God because she got pregnant off of another man, and in those days if a woman was not a virgin when you married her, you could stone her to death and force the rather to pay you. Be grew up with untreated narcissism and possible mental illness, and his "miracles" were lies or had logical expqlnations, i;e walking on water was a mirage, and him multiplying food was just the generosity of people motivated by him. Being an atheist and believing that there is no God is just that, a belief. It is what you believe but it cannot be proven. That would make Stephen Hawking a fool for saying that there is no God.

well simply saying god exists or doesnt, doesnt mean anything. the answer is very simple - Find the truth instead of believing stephen hawking or instead of believing jesus. Find it out yourself!!! How do you find it? Learn about spirituality, dont believe it blindly, learn about it,question it if you dont get convinced then dont believe it. but dont just conclude without spending some time on it.

And the ancients used to wonder how the sun travelled across the sky, and concluded it was a god in a chariot. Almost everything has been explained and the answer was never god doing it, always a scientific explanation. The last one is what caused the big bang, why would that suddenly be god when nothing else was before? Don't be like our dumb ancestors and answer a question with "god."

Honestly bible thumpers are some of the most hateful and hypocritical people on the planet.

Why can't you see that "to come into existence" is something that only happens in time? When you don't have time, you can't have stuff come into existence.

No christian here is logical enough to say, "If God can heal his paralysis and loves him, he would have." The only reason they still believe in God is because they've been brainwashed, fear hell, and would rather dismiss logic for the chance at heaven.

People are always blaming God for what satan does. The earth is still under the authority of satan, because when Adam disobeyed God's warning to not eat of the one tree in the garden, by obeying satan and eating the fruit from the tree, Adam's authority over the earth that God had given him was transferred to satan. Since that happened satan caused death, decay, sickness, hate, and every kind of evil upon the earth. It is not God's will that anyone be sick. I'm sure someone must have by now told Hawking, that God will heal him if he receives Jesus as his Lord and Savior, and comes to Him and receives healing. God loves us all, but we have to make our own choice, to not trust God and be under satan's authority, or to come to Jesus, and repent of our sins, and receive Him as our Lord and Savior, so that we can be blessed by Him. Put the blame where it belongs not on God, but satan. John 10:10 - The thief (satan) comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. 11 I am the good shepherd (Jesus). The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.

Julie Nielsen I heard a story that Our Father Adam, pbup, talked to God years before he died and he asked him: .... Didn’t u know when you created me that I will eat from that tree ?? God Answers yes .. and he then Adam said can you not forgive me for that so that one day I will come back to heaven ...! So it’s all complicated to grasp that How and why would Our God let Satan do such thing to His creatures. :|

I wish this video had elaborated why? Belguim physicist recently have said the big bang theory is not quite right. Due to cracks in general relatively. He came out with this either after Hawking death or briefly before.

It is not the same as saying that the universe has existed for infinite time. The universe is as old as time is. It does not mean that the universe is infinitely old.

Honestly, I can see where he's coming from. I'm not inclined to agree because given our limitations, there probably is something we might be missing, so could we really be the right species to say what is what?

EXACTLY!!! You got it right! You can't use temporal reference on something that's not in time. So why are you still asking what was before time?
