Lol this what i commented yesterday. Plant, Gvozdyk, Bivol all said Canelo hits harder and tbh Benavidez isnt that big a puncher as much as he is a volume puncher so i never believed he could knock out Canelo, maybe outwork him, but Munguia had the same gameplan and Canelo matched his output and was simply smarter. At 175 Canelo's conditioning is bad so it they fought there David definitely wins. If david goes back down it's not gonna end well for him.

Yes I've been saying the same thing, Benavidez is a volume puncher, that and his relentless pressure is how he gets them out of there, but Golovkin already tried that against Canelo, Munguia tried as well and it didn't work out, Golovkin had a granite chin and he took Canelo's best punches very well, Munguia has a very good chin as well, now I believe Benavidez's chin is not as good, or he hasn't really been tested, can he take the punches that Golovkin and Munguia took? I don't know.

He can still easily get a TKO bro. All it takes is being defenseless for too long and the ref can stop it, doesn’t have to be out cold on the floor. Shit Eddy could throw in the towel not wanting Canelo to take too much damage. Canelo swings with bats while Benavidez swings with hammers and they hurt you in different ways.

@Lab_Analyst Benavidez was knocked down by a guy with no power, his chin is questionable, Canelo likes pressure fighters, look what happened to Munguia who has a great chin and had never been knocked down before the Canelo fight, Canelo feeds off of pressure fighters, I'm not saying it would be an easy fight for either guy, Canelo has the experience and power, his IQ is underrated. Great fight.

@@LOTM-bh7zx Gavril had an 80% KO rate so you can’t say he can’t punch lol, but even with that you saw it was from bad footing and Benavidez wasn’t hurt at all. Canelo took more damage from Cotto’s brother and was actually dazed but that hasn’t happened again since. David got dropped 6 years ago and hasn’t been close to getting dropped since despite facing better competition. Canelo loads up on shots but didn’t hurt 40 yr old GGG or Bivol and couldn’t stop Charlo, Ryder or Munguia. Don’t overestimate Canelo’s power.

I love this trainer. I think he made Caleb plant a better fighter. The Caleb plant that fought Canelo would’ve been knocked out easy by David Benavides. I think this trainer gave him a good game plan and the right referee of course that helped him prolong and make it to the end of the 12 th round . .
