Stephen Curry: Calls Celtics BEST Team in NBA | Warriors Postgame Interview

Спорт

BOSTON -- Following the Warriors 140-88 defeat to the Celtics, Stephen Curry praised the opposing team, calling the Celtics the best team in the NBA: "I don't know what they talked about in the locker room. We played them but now four times since so I'm sure that [NBA Finals] narrative has gotten old, but they are the best team in the league right now and they play like it."

Totally agree! These pesky Warriors ( i say that with respect) seem to be a thorn every time we play them. This game seemed liked the passing of the torch and Curry kinda of confirmed it in the interview. I respect Curry for giving the Celtics the credit that they deserve. Once Curry retires, Tatum will be next ambassador of the NBA.

Not the end of the road. It's not the playoffs. Warriors will rise to the occasion when it matters. It's been rough being on the road, back to back games and plane problems. They are tired. Celtics can grab this and run, the Warriors will still beat them when it matters.

Great wake up call for the team though, I believe this was def a positive thing because they can now take this back into the lab and pick it apart. They'll use what has made them take recent strides and and develop a reformed approach having taken the golden nuggets from this L 🧠🏀

It was a perfect storm because Steph usually takes a while to heat up and he is the leader while Celtics been coming out hot at the jump so its not a surprise really. I will have not started Klay and will have limited Steph 3s to 3 attempts to see if he is hot and then let him focus on playing in the paint and using his screens for other players like Kuminga to get better looks.

Try something new? 8 straight wins on the road, “let’s try something different”. I could see Boston trying something new with their record. But when you need every win you can get at this point. Not sure about trying something new. Particularly against the #1 team right now. GS defense looked brand new and Jaylen Brown was wide open all night.
