The problem I have, is I’ve caught myself, just smiling, teeth showing, cheeks up, just smiling so gently. Watching my screen... not laughing... just checked in with myself and I was just naturally smiling. Seeing these too together like this just made me happy. yeah, Barack, that infectious smile, Colbert, this interview, hearing about Michelle, the girls. Trump on his way out, Biden and Kamala in, Vaccine produced... etc etc... it just all comes together doesn’t it... feels like 2020’s quit convulsing? maybe, just maybe. I can afford the Audacity of Hope 🥰... that’s some peaceful $#!t... some peaceful ☺️

I smiled with tears in my eyes during this whole segment. Guess it goes to show how traumatised I'd been the past four years. May God bless and protect President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. Let their leadership be a success and former President Obama's was.

Jon Batiste's bumper music-My Favorite Things, At Last, Sir Duke, and Michelle-are all from the Promised Land playlist that Obama tweeted out about a week ago.

I haven't laughed that hard in a long time! 😂 I'm thinking "Late Night with Barack Obama" is just around the corner. A girl can dream.
I’m going to assume that Colbert’s blue script paper is probably a heavier weight than Obama’s yellow legal paper. Things you learn going to art.

Well, he spent a good 20 years in a writer's chair, for others or his own show, that sounds like a lot of practice 😅
"I don't need to take practice shots...against you." Nice to hear from someone who held the position talking trash, instead of being trash.
Jon with a little nod to the former First Lady via The Beatles. I see you, playa!! 🙌🏾
JOHN APPEARING IN THE END PLAYING THAT THING 😂
I love how truthful this is. They didn’t try to package anything, it is what it is. Good sportsmanship.
2:55, Obama's face, and then Stephen's WHOOOO. is everything I needed in 2020.
Colbert - “It’s what I do !” 🤣
I don't know if this was staged or not but this is my favorite interview with Obama (and Colbert!) ever!!
So delighted to watch you two gentlemen, what a blessed relief to see great guys playing together, after the misery the world has endured in the past 4 years. President Obama, Indonesia remembers you with love and respect. Selamat!!!

Yeah I miss having an elitist tell me what do. How to create war. How to separate race and cause division. Like Obama putting kids in cages. Making sure China and other countries come before the citizens that pay for all of this. Making sure big tech is taken care of and not paying taxes. (im looking at you Bezos). What a piece of garbage. Just like Joe Briben. Worthless.
