Stephen A. Smith sticking to his formula... the one that gets him paid, no matter how classless and demeaning he is. Jaylen Brown is a world champion. Even more than that, Jaylen Brown is an academic GENIUS with NASA and M.I.T. Stephen A. Smith's opening line is proof he is revengeful and holds a grudge. Now Stephen A. is using his platform to take a swipe at him, again.

The Celtics spew confusing misinformation about the star player that they're unwilling to market ( Jaylen Brown ). In other words the expendable star, Jaylen Brown gets the negative media spin while the teams pet player ( Tatum ) gets to represent his country & be labeled the teams " best player & leader " while simultaneously riding Jaylen's aggression & leadership to a championship. Yeah, Tatum lead the team in points, assists & rebounds, but every time the TEAM needed something done they looked to Jaylen who delivered but the media is insistent on giving Tatum the Credit. The problem with Tatum is IMPACT you can score 40-45 shooting 100 bricks @ 28% from 3 & impact the game less than the guy who takes on the teams toughest defensive assignment and is also still reliable enough to go get you 20-23 points a game on great efficiency. Tatum's lack of aggression at his size & with his ability is truly underwhelming and unimpressive imo...!!! & It's the front office mishandling the team pecking order. Tatum has a higher scoring capability he has the capacity to score higher points totals but his production isn't reliable like Jaylen's is. Especially in Big games Jaylen is consistently more impactful in Big games yet the front office insists on featuring Tatum because Jaylen's Societal stance is problematic for the Empire and all of its many mechanisms of power & control such as EMPLOYMENT.... What Jaylen Brown is experiencing is a direct result of his attentiveness to reality & Dreams to bring Black Wall Street to Boston coupled with the inability to accept the falsified reality, that's expected to be consumed by everyday Americans who have bought into the hiSTORY of America. Tatum accepts the BS, Brown doesn't & that affects company profits because companies are opposed to truth because lies are what the society was built on...!! 🤷‍♂️💯

I'm not even going to address SAS...he's doing what he usually does in these situations. The larger, more important situation is what is at hand with JAYLEN BROWN, there is alot to be learned here. Whether people wish to address it or acknowledge it we are seeing another KYRIE IRVING situation playing out in different ways here. This is not about Jaylen Brown the PLAYER, it's PERSONAL and about the POLITICS. I've said this before if you are of a particular color as an athlete and can critically think for yourself, your stand on your convictions and your principles as a man, are elitely excellent in many areas of your life, including your craft, know your true value and worth, will not conform to the status quo and prove to be a SHEPHERD and not a SHEEP many people, including YOUR OWN and the powers that be will find ways to diminish you, exclude you from certain opportunities, taint your name and reputation in the public square and look to make you an outcast. Please note that since Jaylen Brown sided with Kyrie Irving and stated some things about Nike he's been treated VERY DIFFERENTLY. Since he's a man that knows who he is and stands up for his culture and his people PROUDLY it seems to ruffle some feathers. Again, the powers that be want you to just SHUT UP AND BALL. They don't want SHEPHERDS they want SHEEP. To close, what makes things like this more egregious is that people like Grant Hill and the SAS are put front and center to try and make things NOT LOOK like what they EXACTLY ARE. This is not about Jaylen Brown's play..this is totally about him PERSONALLY and POLITICS. Thank you for reading...I will now get off my soapbox. Be Elite Today...

Has that EVER happened in the history of the NBA? One of the highest-paid players in NBA History and the current Finals MVP is not selected to Team USA? Those who know what it is understand that it's about not being a threat to the power structure. And Jaylen Brown is a big one as a conscious, young Black man who doesn't mince words, isn't afraid to stand up for his personal beliefs, and is firm in his support of his own people. Sure, other Black players have these qualities but aren't outward with it or compromise to stay out of the way and go along to get along. I mean, they've worked hard to get to these positions, they don't want to ruin it by poking at the power structure. Jaylen Brown strikes me as the type of guy who doesn't allow that reality to cloud his judgment and actions. Jaylen Brown was clearly the MVP throughout the playoffs. It's why he was awarded the trophy, ECF, and NBA Finals respectively. But any other accolades and invitations that aren't clear cut, he can definitely get blackballed from those which he is. Stephen A. Smith...we know all about him. The community is not too fond of him, especially the Black Grassroots. Lol
