I don't think the NBA is necessarily canceling inside the nba. It's just that TNT parent company refused to bid a certain amount of money to carry the NBA. In this business it's all about the money.

Stephen A. I graduated from College 9 years ago with a Bachelor's Degree in (Media Communications). While I was still in School from (2011 - 2015). I tried getting an Internship with Major Media Companies in my area and there were no openings for Internships. After I Graduated in (2015). I went back to the same Companies/Networks and tried to get Internships or media positions with the Companies that were available. They told me first that they can't offer me a position with them without doing an Internship first. Then they tell me that I can't Intern with them anymore because I am no longer a College Student still in School. Internships are for enrolled College Students only. It's like a Catch 22 thing with Media Companies/Networks. They want to hire people with Experience but don't want to hire anyone who is getting the Experience for the First time on the job and learning on the way.

The problem is, streaming sports live sucks in terms of quality of viewing!! As an IT and Tech Engineer, and a hardcore sports fan, I'm not paying for a streaming service to watch and hear an inferior quality sporting event! I'll pay for cable TV to watch a much better quality program! Being cheap is not worth it to me! Buffering, freezing, no true 4K, low-sound/low-fidelity audio is why I stopped paying for streaming services to watch sporting events!

You can’t be in the business of sacrificing long term gain for short term profits. Most of the fans of the NBA are casual fans, they’ll watch games here or there, watch their home team or whatever team is hot at the time. Obviously there is an uptick the deeper you go into the playoffs. The NBA should have 1-2 main partners in order to not alienate the majority of their fans, have every game accessible to everyone regardless of market. Charge a good amount for a season pass. I’m tired of having to google where to watch certain games only to find out I can’t because I don’t have this service or that service. Put it all on KZread or Netflix or both. Let the streaming services put on Inside the NBA.
