It is so refreshing to see performers having fun while they perform. A performance that is all attack and technique can be boring.

With respect to this KZread performance, this couple is much better seen on one piano, four hands. We were just privileged to participate in one of their live performances. (I rebuilt and tuned the piano they performed on this afternoon) Seeing the two of them perform together on one instrument was a treat I'll not soon forget.

Hi Peter Tabois, Believe KZread finally got it right. Also, there is footage from the 1st set, shot from a position close to the left grand piano, if you would like more. Just find it at CANDCJ/Best

I don´t know what happened to the clip. Listening to it via KZread, the sound is scratchy to say the least. In the original footage sent to KZread there is no such thing, in fact the sound is very good. Please KZread, either re-treat the whole video, or let us re-send it for better quality. This hour with Stepanie & Paolo is certainly worth sharing.

Hi Carver3419, Yes, we do hope so. Stephanie's and Paolo's performance is just too good to go to waste. We have asked the team at KZread to re-treat the whole footage and we sincerely expect them to act promptly. Best, C&C

Every time I hear them in duet, I am so disapointed that Stephanie did not marry a drummer or a bass player !! I think she was a much better pianist on her own even though they are better on 2 separate pianos than alternating on a single one. In this same formula find on youtube the recordings she made with Rossano Sportiello (with Hal Smith on drums and the terrific Nicky Parrott on bass) you will see that the problem comes entirely from Paolo Alderighi !! Any pre 2014 recording by Stéphanie is a gem !

A great disappointment. Have followed Stephanie for years. This concert was approx. 18% pure Stephanie only. I didn't go to see ballads by Paolo or duets which were not in a jazz theme. VERY little stride or boogie. What a disappointment.
