The 1950's , the 1960's, the 1970's, the 1980's, the 1990's was America's peak in everything we did, we lived, we inspired. 2023's America is just a shadow and carcass of what it was once upon a time. Never to return again. Glad i lived it all like millions alive then and still alive now. Good luck all with this America, but we'll need a miracle to survive it now.

This song helped me to transition from the 70's to the 80's. It was a time to be living the life in the 70's and 80's. For every moment in time there was a song to justify that one moment. I had fun, am quite older now but am on the look out for all the good music that was then. Miss those memorable times. I have beautiful memories of an era long ago that no one can take away from me. I've lived it, ate it, breathed it, and now with my memories.

R%B soul and funk and disco. The stuff out today is no good. Black music old school rocks. So much better then white music.

Back in 1980 in Boyle Heights, CA a tremendously beautiful girl named Angie bought me this record. At the time I failed to grasp why this song meant so much lyrically for her to gift this to me. I understand now. I bit late, but I understand the weightiness of those beautiful lyrics.

In 1980 My Mum and Dad bought this 7" vinyl single of this brilliant disco classic by the lovely Stephanie Mills. The 7" single my parents bought back then was released in 1980 by 20th Century Records (Yes that right the same as '20th Century Fox' Film company who owned there owned there own record label too. Anyway this fantastic Disco classic brings back so many, many wonderful memories for me it was a massive hit here in the UK in 1980 I was 7 years old at the time. Disco from the 70s and early 80s will live on forever not like the rubbish music, artists and groups you hear today on the radio, I have no time for today's music but give me Disco era and I'm in 7th heaven!
