She is good as; Patti Labelle, Anita Baker, Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight, Donna Summer, Natalie Cole and the list goes on with all the wonderful black singers around.

i love Stephanie so much..She has always been my favorite female singer of all time...When I was 14 i called Starlight Music and talked to Cassandra Mills and told her how much of a fan I was of Stephanie and she gave me tickets and a backstage pass to see her in New York in concert and my mom took me..Every time she would perform in Atlantic City where i'm from I would call and Cassandra would bring me backstage to see her..I know Stephanie has to remember the little boy that was me.

This song was playing on the radio while I was sitting in the funeral car the day of my father's funeral. He died of lung cancer. I have always associated this song with my dad's death. His funeral was on Oct 1980, on a warm sunny day, I had just turned 10 yrs old a month before. At least he got a chance to see my 10th birthday 2 weeks before he passed. I never knew love like this. I re-live that day every time I hear this song. I think of my father. God I miss that man. I love him so much. Can't wait to see him again.

I grew up in the 80s to the rock hair bands....but ive ALWAYS loved this song!! Stephanie...illl never forget this song! The voice of an angel!
