命運是安排好的，何必苛求？
今天的事情都未知明天如何，為何憂愁？
我們應該尊敬父母、尊敬世尊，為何爭吵？
兄弟姐妹都是同根生的，為何爭鬥？
子孫自有他們的福氣，為何擔憂？
人的運氣是有定數的，為何匆忙？
抬頭三尺有神明，為何欺騙？
財富和榮耀都是轉瞬即逝的，為何傲慢？
別人家的富貴是前世注定的，為何嫉妒？
前世不修行，今生才會受苦，為何怨恨？
欺負別人只會招致禍害，幫助別人才會得到福報，為何卜算？
生命瞬息萬變，一切都會終結，為何恨惡？
生於南宋紹興十八年，卒於嘉定二年（1148～1209），出生於台州的李修元，是一位僧人。
他在18歲時在浙江杭州靈隱寺出家，法號為「道濟」。後來他住在淨慈寺，並在那裡去世，他的塔位於虎跑寺。
道濟和尚以他的神通廣大、濟困扶危、行俠仗義而聞名。他不談經典，不理論禪宗，卻喜歡喝酒、開玩笑。他以警戒、勸善和幫助迷失的群眾為己任，專注於解決人間的不公不義！他擁有七十二般變化的神奇能力，只要念出「唵嘛呢啤咪吽」，就能降伏魔難；他輕拍著頭頂，靈光乍現，能洞悉三世的事情；他善於口才，以詼諧的語言教化眾生。他喜歡唱山歌，其中蘊含著人生的至理。無論他去到哪裡，笑聲總是不斷。時至今日，人們仍然尊敬並崇拜他。

Today's events are unknown, why worry about tomorrow?
We should respect our parents, respect the world, so why argue?
Siblings are born from the same root, so why fight?
Descendants will have their own blessings, so why worry?
One's luck is predetermined, so why rush?
There is divinity within three feet above, so why deceive?
Wealth and glory are fleeting, so why be arrogant?
Others' wealth and status are predestined, so why be jealous?
Suffering in this life is a result of not cultivating in past lives, so why hold grudges?
Bullying others will only bring calamity, helping others will bring blessings, so why hesitate?
Life is ever-changing, everything will eventually come to an end, so why harbor hatred?
Born in the 18th year of Shaoxing in the Southern Song Dynasty, and passed away in the 2nd year of Jiading (1148-1209), Li Xiuyuan, born in Taizhou, was a monk.
At the age of 18, he became a monk at Lingyin Temple in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, with the Dharma name "Daoji". Later, he lived in Jingci Temple and passed away there. His pagoda is located in Hupao Temple.
Monk Daoji was renowned for his extraordinary abilities, helping those in need, and acting with chivalry and justice. He didn't discuss scriptures or theorize about Zen Buddhism, but enjoyed drinking and joking. His mission was to warn, advise, and assist the lost masses, focusing on resolving injustices in the human world! He possessed 72 miraculous abilities and could subdue demons by reciting "Om Mani Padme Hum." With a light tap on his head, he would have divine insights into the past, present, and future. He had great oratory skills and taught sentient beings through humorous language. He loved singing folk songs, which contained profound truths of life. Wherever he went, laughter always followed. Even today, people still respect and worship him.
