Agree totally. Such a brilliantly talented lady. Every performance she gave was so real. Absolutely riveting and in a class all of her own. The show died when Stephanie died and Susan left.

Susan Flannery is not dead. It would be great to see her again on B&B! She is a marvelous actor.

@@msrain1235 Who can blame all those other actors in the cast nowadays for either leaving or committing to other projects? Brad doesn't utilise his whole cast, and whenever he does, it's just so that they can be props for the characters who already have their own storylines. They're working on other projects because they know that they'll never get a substantial amount of screen time on B&B (if this was pre-2018 we wouldn't even be having this conversation, TBH). Jacob Young who left the show in 2018 even explained in an interview that the reason why he left is because there wasn't enough work to go around, and when you watch the show...well, you can clearly see that he ain't lying!

For this storyline, if B&B doesn't get any emmy consideration for this, then it is a shame! This story was excellently written, excellently produced, and SPLENDIDLY acted. Everyone involved in this story should be proud of this work. This is soap acting, the way it really should be!

I know I wouldn't want Brooke to be my mother! Stephanie is right about the way Brooke was a mother to Rick. He was so desperate for her love. Taylor called it when Rick was just a child. Every time he acted out he took his anger out on Ridge instead of the person he was really mad at. Then there's Bridget. What she did to her is disgusting and unforgivable. Last there's Hope and RJ. She has caused Hope so much pain by constantly telling her to go after Liam even if Liam was married to Steffy. No good mother would support her daughters relationship with a man that could marry someone else in the manner in which Liam did. As far as RJ she just sends him off to boarding school. Brooke is a narcissists and only cares about herself. She doesn't care who she hurts because if she did she would never have done the horrendous things that she did to her own family. Not once, not twice but 7 times. If that's a good mother then a bad mother would be terrifying.

I am watching in 2020. I miss Stephanie. She was so cold to brooke and i love every moment of it. Now the logans get away with everything. This soap had some flavor. Now its just the logans all day every day.

Actresses who get oscars do far far less than what this og can do on the small screen.

Thanks for posting this. I'm filling in the gaps, as I have only been watching B&B about 7 years. I do understand why Stephanie is so revered by everyone STILL. Crazy short stay in the hospital and it came on right after the noon news! I had to keep watching after that. 👌🏼

Too bad Stephanie died onscreen, so the story could be that she faked her death. Then she & Quinn could go to battle.

I love that Stephanie spoke the truth. Its Rick fault point blank PERIOD!!! RICK was in the driving seat..he started the car...he continues to drive a car when his passenger was unbolted and he knew she was hysterical why put the car in Drive. But Poor Lil Rick goes running to his Mom when he knew he did something unbelievably horrible. But in present-day Brooke wants Thomas head on a platter for keeping a secret but it's a accident when Rick reckless murders Phoebe Sr. Double standard to say the least.

The powerhouse that is Flannery. Period.

Me too, I couldn't stand his ass. She has every right to defend Rick, but her son convinces her to not marry Ridge. I would really believe it's time for him to man up, but he obviously couldn't. And now after Phoebe's death, he involves Steffy which is literally unfair.

I wish more characters would call Brooke out lol I know everyone on this show is equally terrible but Brooke always has something to say about other people.

Some of yall on here take this to seriously. Remember this is a written Day Time Drama none of this is real. That said Susan Flannery aka Queen Stephanie Forrester gave a remarkable performance which is why she won an emmy that year. Nuff said.

Thomas has a mental illness after Caroline death but there was nothing wrong with Rick. He went after Ridge because of Brooke. And he never paid for his actions or took responsibility for Phoebe's death. Brooke is the biggest hypocrite in history she justify her kids actions but condemns other people kids.

@Ebony. I know Phoebe caused the accident but from the get go, Ridge did not want Rick in an incestuous relationship with his daughter. Brooke helped Rick to lie and sneak around behind Ridge's back. Soon Rick dumped Phoebe and moved on to his mother. Through it all Brooke defended her sick vindictive son, now she's all over Ridge for defending his son. Yes Thomas is cray but not anymore than Rick....

@yrs both Rick and Ridge call Eric Forrester dad and you very well know this. Blood does not make a man a father it's being there for a child and raising them with love and that's exactly what Eric did for Ridge. Eric not being Ridge's father was a horrible rewrite and insults ones intelligence. Why?? Because when they were running Eric's and Ridge's DNA to see who was Bridget's father, right then and there the truth should have been revealed. Afaic Eric is Ridge's dad and any relationship between any of his daughters and Rick was borderline incestuous. He messed with Taylor, Phoebe and steffi to spite Ridge and he said as much. Rick is a psychopath. Lest we forget that he shot Grant and let Ridge take the fall for it. And then he had a psychotic break and forgot what he did. You think Brooke would ever take the fall for any of Ridge's kids??? Hell no. Not to mention the time Rick shot at both Caroline and Ridge. Then Rick once feigned injury to kick and keep Ridge out of his moms house. Rick has borderline Oedipus complex. Through all of this, Brooke vehemently defends her rotten son.Nobody is arguing that Thomas isnt a lil cray. He is. But Brooke is a damn hypocrite for giving Ridge ultimatums and other BS for being there for his son when she's been there for hers......

I remember this like yesterday I broke down in cry😭😭😭Lord why did this up here this was so sad😭😭😭😭😭

Stephanie's motives and actions puzzled me sometimes but no one played angry better than Susan Flannery in the role. And for the record I was never a Brooke or Rick fan but Stephanie still baffled me sometimes. Plus if Phoebe had survived I'm sure Brooke would have blamed her for the accident.

If the situation was reversed. Thomas was driving and Hope is the one dead in the car accident, do you think Brooke will say it was an accident? Will she be defending Thomas and making excuses for him knowing that he was the one driving when her daughter dead the way she is defending Rick?

@laneyau Taylor did not kill Darla on purpose she was helping change a tire and a nut was stuck. Darla pulled and when the nut finally came lose the force made darla fall and Taylor hit her. She didn't lie about killing Darla and as for Taylor and Thorne he forgave her and they were about to get married. They didn't because Alexandria was uncomfortable with them together. As for Taylor being gone from her children's life is because of Prince Omar who was obessed with Taylor who was in a coma.

She admitted that she was drinking when she got the call from Steffy who was stranded on the road with a flat tire, and rushed to get there as quickly as possible. She didn't know that Darla had come to Steffy's aid until she hit her. Eventually, Aly did make her peace with Taylor.

This show never recovered after Susan left

Every time I Watch this I realize we will never get another Stephanie! Susan Flannery was and still is Iconic. Katherine Kelly Lang shoutouts to u for being there and keeping up or at least trying to. 💙🥰

S: was anyone injured? B: rick was Scrrrrrr hold up who the hell cares if rick is injured. He survived and phoebe is the one that died. He could be as injured as he wants but the fact still remains that pheobe is the one that died Brooke girl you better... sigh

I remember the crash very well as if it were yesterday and it was not Rick's fault in anyway. Phoebe came to see Rick when Rick was about to leave for the party. She wanted to get into an argument with him but he wasn't having it. He saw that she was upset and decided to leave for the party. I think that's what got her mad. The fact that Rick was walking away from her. Phoebe followed him into his car and started going in on him. She started hitting him and grabbing the wheel and she mashed the accelerator by accident and that's how the crash happened. So in reality it was Phoebe's fault. She should've had more control over herself. She shouldn't have allowed Rick to take her there to the point. It so sad because it costs her her life

If you get in a car to argue with someone who you are completely pissed off at don,t put on your seat belt start attacking the driver and grabbing the wheel you are going to crash how is that his fault he did not know she was going to grab the wheel and she was responsible for her own seat belt. She hated him she should not have gotten in the car she was at fault.

This woman is written to be very abhorrent. They've never shown a situation where she is not out for blood. I can imagine what she would do if someone skipped her in the grocery line but then again the maid probably gets all the food for them!

The fact that Rick is an A**h**e does not make the crash his fault her getting physical with him and grabbing the wheel and not having her seat belt on is what killed her Rick is a bad person but he did not kill her.

tribe1964 he did kill her rule number one if the passenger doesn't wear a seat belt you can't move a car why would you?

Looking at this makes the current B&B look like a kindergarten talent show

The logans were a curse , they are a curse to the foresters, all they brought is pain, infidelity, low class , period

Sorry Stephanie, but if Phoebe was wearing a selt belt than she wouldn't had fallen out of the windshield. So it really wasn't Rick's fault. But I understand her fustraction.

They should've know that Phoebe had Ridge's temper.

Phoebe caused the accident! Rick didn't kill her, Phoebe is dead because of Phoebe!

He is guilty because of his actions.
