I estimate this is the 345th I have watched this in 24 hours. And Im not satisfied yet. I can watch it a lot more times. How about the expresion of Stephane when he finishes? Its like he was playing the easiest song, like its nothing compared to what he can do.

Yes. And that, in turn, is a variation of _Indifférence_ by Django's good friend, the Belgian-born accordion virtuoso Gus Viseur. Actually, if you listen to "Indifférence," the chords are the same in all three strains.

@aleantonel yes. very astute. it's basically the same chord progression, same rhythm, tempo, and scales. Django wrote & recorded montaigne st. genevieve like 60 years ago. and we know Wrembel learned that tune cos we can see him playing it here: watch?v=lhA_jKBpkZU
@makmy let me know if you find the lab and chords to this please, i love this sone and my new spanish guitar would be perfect for it :)

@FlippinFlaves The coke can has loose objects inside ( coins, BB's etc). The hole is taped up and when he taps his foots it becomes a shaker. He doesn't play percussion on this song, however. Guitar players do this sometimes due to both hands are in use and since you are already tapping your foot, why not add a shaker to it.
@herrunsinn7749 жыл бұрын
Darn... It's too bad the camera-person couldn't leave the focus on Steve... We hoping to learn a few little tricks can learn a lot by watching a players hands... Watching a cola can tied to a shoe? ... Not so much.What's the fill chord he plays at 1:06? He played a couple other nice fill chords in the piece too... but the darned camera wasn't on him. Dad-burn-it!By the way, a note-for-not transcription of the original version (as played in the "Midnight in Paris" film) is available at Soundslice. Mr. Wrembel does a short little video endorsement of the transcription there. The piece costs $5 there... but is well worth it. One nice feature is that not only are the chords and melody shown in tab... but as the piece plays, the chords and melody are displayed in exact sync to the music... An added feature is that there is a "speed slider", so the piece can be slowed down as much as you need it, in order to keep up as you play along (without affecting the pitch.)
