Most riders who want 1000cc adventure bikes are fat dudes. But they are just making it worse: almost 500 kg on mud or sand?! Getting stuck 90 % of the trip

You are absolutely right on the smells you can pick up you would have missed in a car. When a friend and I crossed from the U. S. to British Columbia, as soon as we crossed the border the scent of millions of fir trees was noticeable. It smelled like Christmas instantly. I would have missed that in a car, and the experience would have been much different.

Lol, I've ridden a dirt bike once I was 4 years old. the best crash of my life. I was completely fine but messed up my body armor when I was going 70 per hour. Today I'm still riding bikes mostly the 250L and the 250L Rally with the yz250 Yamaha. when people crash you either learn from it or give up. trust me once you are good at dirt biking or motorcycling you won't crash I've never crashed my bikes for 8 years. I hope all motorcycle riders have a good day.

I get crap from seasoned riders over my 250L Rally. They seem to think ya need a BMW 1200. This is more proof. At 65 it's easy to handle. It's easy to lower if ya want. Parts are everywhere. Love mine.

I think Honda and other motorcycle companies should make 600cc bikes for short people. I drove a Honda 250 Rebel from AZ to Yellowstone , Wyoming and back and it was fun but, the elevation made me go to 45mph and couldn't go faster than 55mph sometimes. I know it's a small commuter bike and that's why I bought it but, I like the size and weight just needs more power. In AZ I can get it to 85 and to me thats fast enough becuase really no highways in America have over 75mph limit. I have owned a Honda CBR 600 but when you make emergency stops 600pounds is hard to manage and especially when your 5'4. so i think they should make bikes like this model or a Grom with a 450 or 600cc engine with these smaller seat heights. awesome video by the way.

I used to rent this bike in Thailand, it's pretty cheap over there, around 20$ a day. She's right, it's a great dual sport, you can go off road without a problem. The only issue for me was horse power. It's really, really weak, you push the throttle and it has little power. It's a pity that Honda doesn't produce a 450 cc bike of the same kind. The 450 CFR (no "L") is a dirt bike, and it can't be used on the streets for long distances.

  • @pierluigisonsini9388

FERNANDO her bike is a dual sport, the CB 500 X is a great bike, but maybe 80/20, I don't think you can do much off road with it. For her trip I would have probability gotten a 1190 KTM. If you stay away from Asia or Maybe Africa you're fine, but in certain SE Asian countries roads are really bad, and you need a dual sport.
