Steph Curry has epic second half as Warriors eliminate Rockets | 2019 NBA Playoff Highlights

Спорт

The Golden State Warriors hold off the Houston Rockets with a 118-113 win in Game 6 to advance the Western Conference finals. Steph Curry goes scoreless in the first half, but flips a switch in the second half and scores 33 points including a few late 3-pointers. Klay Thompson adds 27 points of his own with seven 3-pointers, including a clutch one that helped seal the win. James Harden puts up a game-high 35 points and Chris Paul scores 27 with 11 rebounds and six assists in the loss.

No they are slightly past their prime, they're not 24 - 26 yo anymore. But even they lost a step as 29 - 31 yo, their experience having been in pressure situations makes a world of difference. Pyscologically, splash brothers are in the head of their opponents in crunch time having seen splash brothers make Championship shots over last 5 years. That's a huge physcological advantage over opposing teams in crunch time which will force them to make mistakes while Splash Brothers demoralize them with clutch shots.

@@klaymondcurrinspooney5240 Athletically, athletes all across every sport are in their primes in mid 20s. But if you're talking about the "mental" game, that's a different story.

@@tekkenfan01 Talent of course is #1, you still need that to be successful whether younger or older. You combine that with youth/fit, that's a dangerous team that can win a Championship like Splash brothers did with their 1st Title as 24yo(Klay) - 26yo(Curry). Now they're 29yo - 31yo, 5 athlete years is a huge difference. From this point on for the next few years, they're games will be predicated on the mental side of the game and their advantageous psycological warfare they developed with their Championship pedegree. Crazy High winning percentage in the regular season like in their prime athletic years won't matter, Splash Brothers psycological warfare shows up in the playoffs.

Do me a favor and go back to all the "We would've won last year if CP3 was healthy" comments you've made and delete them all. Don't ever compare the rockets to the warrios ever. I don't wanna see you flexing next year or any other year after tonight. You had 1 fuckinf job... no KD, Curry scoreless for the half and in foul trouble and had CP3 healthy. This is it. Just change your name to Htown Chokers L

But what choice did the Rockets have though? You can't just give up many assets for only one year of CP, so that was a wink-wink agreement when they traded for him. I think Capela will still have some worth around the league, but boy did they give away a chance to dethrone the Warriors.
